Pickup is important especially if u do alot of city driving cuz you need to stop alot and when you step on the gas, you wan to be able to blast away.

obviously no lah. But a good pick up gives you a sense of satisfaction and its a joy to drive. Seriously driving the nhc in those small small housing area roads is a nightmare. Everytime you stop and you step the gas, you can feel like the engine is out of breath. And during this period, can see the petrol meter gng down very fast.

So this low torque at low rpm is annoying. I rather they spread the torque equally over the gears instead of keeping it all to the higher gears.

And bcuz of this low torque at low rpm, going up even a slight slope requires some effort. You really need to press the gas hard then onie the car start moving faster up the slope.

The only time this car excels is on long straight highways whr the engine is quiet and the car is stable and theres torque at higher rpm.
Overall after 1 year 4 months with the car, would say everything else is ok except the engine and the gearbox which in my opinion is really crap. Cant even chg gears properly

Yes,the loose seat thing is very common.I am also having it for the past 1 year already.

Sent to SC,the fella so call fix it.But when it came back,still the same.

I think its the design fault.It only happens when u go over bumps and when your butt leaves the seat.

The NHC does not look good in white anyway.

Somehow makes the car look cheap like Taxi.

Oh well,there will be ppl who like white in the end

NHC engine noise is noisy when accelerating from stationary.But after that its ok.

The main noise is coming from outside.The soundproofing is really LOUSY! Every single motorbike i can hear as though i never close my window.Very very loud.

Yea i am one of them. Dont expect this car to be super fuel efficient like the vios. Its not at all. 340 km is normal for city driving. Dont expect 450++ unless you travel long distance on north south highway frequently. All those ldp, fed highway not counted cuz too short distance.

Dont bother complaining to sc, cuz they cant do anything. Honda cars are powerful at high revs so yea they suck petrol too even at low rpm.

Unlike vios whr no matter how you drive, you can almost guarantee at least 400 km per tank.
Sometimes just for fun i hentam until 4k rpm for a short distance, u can actually see the meter dropping very fast!




But no doubt la the power at high revs is amazing. Thr was this old altis 1.8 going speeding uphill on sprint highway. So i just slam the gas and i easily overtook him. Lol.. Bu

You see,alot of you people dont get it.This NHC is very difficult to drive at low RPM.

For initial pickup,meaning from stationary ,to get the car moving you have to press quite hard for the car to move.If you press little bit onie,the car will hardly move.That is when ppl from behind will horn you.

It is not the same as the vios where you just press a little,and it will move very fast.Its easy to keep low RPM.

And you say keep the rev between 2-2.5k.Yes you can do that on a nice straight road,if the road is uphill just by a bit,I can confirm with you that you need to rev your car more than 3k RPM to get it moving.Cuz if you do 2-2.5 k RPM on an uphill section,the car wont freaking move.

So its easy to say maintain 2-2.5k rpm here in forum.But in real life driving,its almost impossible unless you are driving on clear straight highways everyday which i doubt very much.

So yes,thats how i hv been driving my car for the past 1 year 5 months,and yes since the first day i got my car,the highest mileage i got was 500km .That one oso once only and after so much of effort like driving super slow .But then again,it was because i went outstation and i was driving on straight highways most of the time.

The other times in and around KL,i have managed around 340km-360km per tank.And this oso is not really hard revving yet.Just normal driving.Not slow,but average.

If I start revving,i can get onie about 300km per tank.And yes,after I press the pedal hard hard,I can see the petrol meter dropping quite alot.

And no,my car does not have any problems.Sending to SC will not solve the problem.So just live with it.

Yea i m reckoning those who get 400 km per tank consistently every time are those s spec drivers cuz their car lighter and smaller rims and narrower tyre which is 175

Bro what they mean iby 100% city driving cuz highways like ldp, kesas , federal highway are all within the city. Unless u go outstation take nse then onie consider real highway.

Yeap. North south highway is the real highway. Long distance then only can see the diff.

Highways like i said are within the city and jam most of the time. Tell me what is the diff driving on ldp, fed highway, nkve than driving in city? Its the same. Hardly mk a difference.

First of all, they are jam up most of the time, and are very short distance.

I changed my stock tyre to Conti Sport Contact 1 195/50/16 .Total RM 880 for 4 piece

Kinda cheap and the performance is not bad at all.Very quiet and stable!

What i meant is that the tyre is quieter than the stock.

But insulation is same. Can still hear the wind noise at high speeds. >140km/h

I am not sure what the NHC stock Conti model is.Is it Comfort Contact? If thats the case,then the grip is not that great,but its quieter than mine.Mine which is SportsContact1 is more for grip.

Mine is wider than stock by 10 mm or 1 cm.So its more stable while cornering.

Get ready to change it soon.

I changed mine within the warranty period as it was weak.Even the radio couldnt start up properly.It had sound coming out,but no wordings on the panel.

But now hardly a few months into the new battery,it feels weak again.The radio problem is happening again.The wordings sometimes disappear with only the sound.This is a sign of weak battery.And sometimes its hard to start the car.

Looks like I have to change the battery again.

My car is 1 year 7 months.Means in less than 2 years I am gonna need to change my battery twice which i feel is bad.
