Ah... finally back to playing this. But I need more practice with more awesome cars. Trying to understand how in the world Shahreza can tibai corners and win by 30 seconds from time.

i practice in free roam a lot, those cornering i make sure the cars don't lose their speed (damn hard 4 smooth cornering)... seem traffic is random, still very hard to avoid those crashes

plus i will try grind another 10s off my current times...

What's the reward for getting all Golds in every single events? I'm still off with a couple of Silvers and Bronze. Completed my career as a cop at Level 18 and my racer is at Level 17 at the moment. HYPER SERIES are unlocked thus far.

I'm grinding an hour every night for bagging home some Golds if possible. I think I can pull it off. WAHOO!

Hmmm...only trophies. Might as well go for all Golds since that I've been aiming for Gold for every event. I hate Rapid Response.

Wall: Deduction of 2 seconds.
On coming car: Deduction of 3 seconds. OUCH!

Crash: As long as the game wants. But If not mistaken, 6 to 8 seconds.

I know it's bloody long but as long as 6 to 8 seconds??!! That's being smoked behind man...Sigh.

How i figured when racing is like this:

-Stomp your feet.
-Nitrous when accelerate.
-When taking sharp corners, I would try to brake, but normally just tapping square and then cornering would do the job.
-But major loss of speed.
-Braking is a little slow (of course at 200mph its not slow at all) so its hard for me to really corner without perfect cornering techniques.

Very hard for me to sustain 180 mph. Instead I would normally see 150 and less.

R2 all the way, drift in apex, depends on whether there's a car on the left or right side of the road. Tap a little on L2...once I pull the car almost in the straight position, it's either step on R2 or NITROUS BLAST from there. Sometimes we get extra filling on the nitrous bar when drifting. Hehehe~~~

also depends on cars taking on corners.. some are late breaking, some are too light to take sharp corners at high speed

I have a habit that I hate when I drift. I press on nitrous also.

Its a huge waste. But sometimes, have to maintain speed.

why is it a waste,when you're maintaining speed?

Because the Nitrous can take u further rather than just maintaining speed. Criterion's tip was to use Nitrous after cornering. not during cornering.

And I end up banging so many cars. I want a perfect drive! haha.

New Premium ‘Super Sports Pack’ DLC Announced

EA has announced a premium DLC ‘Super Sports Pack’ for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, which will contain 6 new cars, 12 new events, and new achievements/trophies.

Sometimes the nitrous blast can be used to correct one's cornering. Especially when you are about to hit the wall on the side, you just inject some nitrous and save your self from exchanging paint with the wall instead. Nifty technique but it works for me! Wakakakaka~~~
