haha yeah true tht..its like working OT really...but ur not earning money from it..if ur new to the game, u`ll pay for the fun and enjoyment (its a game afterall) but once u played too much, u`ll start taking it as a burden, in my opinion lah

Thats true too, but for SC2 you do not need to organize a time to get togather, nor pay every week for it. Where as a game only last 15 min you can always stop after a game. Where as for WoW you cant stop in the middle of a raid, nor can you go and raid alone.

I`d agree with both of u ..yes it really depends on how u manage ur time..but all i could say is..WOW requires a lot of time and commitment as compared to SC 2 or even dota/HON...in my daily life now..i know i only can choose between WOW and other activities...and i`ve decided to quit WOW..24 hours isnt enuf if u wanna enjoy your real/normal life and play WOW together really..

I am new and starting on this game and it seem that I could see the result of playing Wow in my future.

Well ultimately our lives will end thus ending the WoW session. But it depends which ends 1st.

wait guys gtfo if you think this is a "quit mmo thread" its a quit wow thread not a quit mmo so if your going to complain. and 4 hours to get to level 2....wtf where u doing? even running form starting point to major city which takes 30mins if u know the way or 45mins if your lost will get you to level 3 in wow.

offed it the instant i saw "ncsoft" well cant wait for starwars old republic and warhammer 40k....i dont understand why are they breaking our balls with this 2 games....srsly both of the most loved game tittles i ever had making on9 games

the game feels stale now and i only login for raids with my guildies not to mention the drama etc...
if not for the people i know in the game, i would have quit it...

Well to be honest, I did consider joining a casual guild and play this game as a casual player. But on second thought, I cancelled my intention because being a raider for almost 2 years now its not easy to join a casual guild with fresh 80s where i have to start fresh all over again (raiding Naxx etc with them for start). Joining semi pro/ semi hardcore guild would be the only way for me considering that i`ve played and tried all the contents and mechanics that this game has to offer.

If you ask me to join a guild that doesnt raid, I will join but i`ll just end up spending my time wandering around dalaran again wihtout knowing wat else i can do except for raiding. I`ve even pvp`ed and did arenas..and i did almost all the quests from lvl 1-80 for like 7 times? lol

Good for you that you managed to take this game casually and enjoy playing it. This period is over for me i guess, i`ve enjoyed the game enough and played it more than enough. 3 yrs of WOW-ing seems kinda long for me. lol

But no doubt when my frens ask me to go bck and play during Cataclysm, i might play again. Who knows

this game no doubt is a time-killing machine. I started playing after my friend lend his acc to me. I roled an archer and got addicted straight away. I leveled up using cracked version of Joana guide 1-60 in 2 weeks. That was during december of form 4 time. Me too as well have no idea what is raid and those in depth content. The first raid i been into was Molten core. 40 people packed into an instance and killing bosses , excecuting strategies, lively battles, sensational ambient music, with ppl shouting all over vent after bringing down bosses are the things that i couldnt let go in WoW. However my SPM was damm near so i had to quit. Then i realise that i shouldnt quit wow so early coz SPM is a rubbish exam . Yea i say so lol bcoz its nothing compared to alevel and first year. all about memorizing facts.

I continued back when BC came out. Raced myself to 70 and been into one of a top guild in barthilas (Blue label or nochocolate) if anyone heard of. Been raiding with so much fun. Wipefest and clearing all the way to BT. Sensational. Eventually studying in a college had me relocate myself into a place with no internet. sux. quit again.

WoW withdrawal syndrome struck me again. The packaging of WOTLK is so attractive! For those ppl who owns the game, how often do you look at the game packaging? Its very catchy that i surrendered my RM 176 for the game. Again i raced myself to 80 in 1 week. Raided until the sarth+3 drakes over and over again until i got bored bcoz during that time blizzard has yet to wait before releasing new instances..

sounds like a  diary. But i didnt regret on playing though. Had my ass stick on my pc most of time. Enjoyed raiding with guild mates. This is what i call real mmorpg.   Now i wished that i played more during the earlier days as i have no more chance to do it now in uni.

So the conclusion is, teenagers of 15+ , go grab this game and enjoy as much as possible. Not necessary to focus too much on SPM (bad teaching) because more important things will come across to your life in future
