Most stupid and ridiculous thing I have ever seen. What is the point of THAT? A Hummer, even a H2 (which itself is an abomination already) is supposed to go off road. With those rims? I don't think so. http://xbradtc.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/towhummer.jpg This is how they have to look like. Dirty, camouflaged and with something badass on the roof. biggrin.gif

The girl is nice though biggrin.gif

So that was your car or what? Don't get me wrong. I like the H1, and the H2 is ok too. But it's an extreme offroader (at least the H1), putting rims that belong to a sports car onto it is kind of defying the point of that thing. It's like turning a Ferrari into a monster truck. Funny, but ultimately very daft.

And what's wrong with asking? I can pay for a new mirror. Actually I'll be going to Europe and import one from there. But if the insurance would pay for it, why not? And what's wrong with trying to safe fuel for the environment? Jesus, just because I don't want to spend money when it's not necessary does it mean that I don't have any.

Really, what's your problem? If that was your car (or you drive something like that), then sorry. But please do enlighten me why you did that, I'd really like to know.

@calvint78: Sorry, can't remember.

What's that? What's the car even? Mazda 323F? Is the thing on the hood even supposed to be there? Actually it's kind of funny, though f***ed up.

Nice paintjob. The interior was painted too, later the owner modified it more.

why dont you just google for "random car" rather than waiting for someone to post here as those picture are also capture by oneself.

Hm, but you can also Google for cars in Malaysia? I thought as long as it is somewhat interesting it's ok to post, but if more are annoyed, then I can also let it be and only post things that I see in Malaysia. I don't mind. (Although I might post one that I have seen in China... I really have no clue wtf that thing was).

Never seen that Infiniti before in China, it's actually quite nice for a SUV. Seen a similar one in China once... I think the predecessor. That was even nicer...

I like that look, although it needs steel rims and a bad paintjob to complete it (and fix the headlight please).

The CR-Z is not bad, but I do like the front of the euro style Civic. Taken in Malaysia...?

I don't mind if it was in other countries (obviously), I was just wondering because I have never seen one of those in Malaysia. Though perhaps a Singaporean car... I think they can also get the Euro one... Such a shame Honda didn't bring it here too... at least the Type R.

Ah, the Megane RS. I want one.

Cool, Evo with rocket booster!

Actually I think that ricer pickup looks much nicer than the H2. I like the rims, they look badass, and practical. I'm not a fan of those huge rims, especially when mounted to something that's supposed to go off road. Much more tasteful, if you can talk about that with such a vehicle (only reason to go for huge rims in such a car would be to show off that you're rich, IMHO). He should have used a more macho looking pickup though. An older one perhaps. Just look at the Velociraptor.

camry with steelies?

Haha, Avensis station wagon. I think it looks much better than the regular Camry (looks like they are quite similar... only different name nowadays?).

Steel rims are quite common in Germany, even on big cars, especially in winter (snow, salt, ...). Also baseline models sometimes come with steel rims, even in higher segments. That was more common in the past though, but I think the Touran comes with rather small steel rims as a standard. My rental Focus also drove on steel rims, my Citroen Xsara sits on 195/55 R15... steel rims.

Btw. there's an Toyota Aygo in the background.

Poor beemer. He wanted to make it as weird looking as the new 1 series? I've seen this mod on many VW, but BMW is new to me. (On VW it can look good, if not overdone).

Also aren't his headlights kind of useless this way?

Oh, no I meant the idiom "in the flesh". http://www.thefreedictionary.com/in+the+flesh As in in real life, in person, not on photo but with the car standing next to you. I'd love to drive it though, never got the chance. sad.gif

Testing my new DRL. Don't worry though, they get auto dimmed as soon as the lights are turned on.

The car next to me is more interesting though. S350. I wonder why he felt the need to add an AMG go faster badge. Isn't the fact that he drives a freaking S class good enough? Why need to "tune" it by adding a fake badge? If anything I'd remove any badge (especially the S350 which basically says he is a cheapskate and went for the cheapest one there is. But adding AMG is kind of laughable and reduces the value of the car). In Germany there is usually the option (VW, BMW, Mercedes, ...) to remove any badges that say what engine is inside. I like it. Especially if I have the top of the line engine. biggrin.gif

lol, at least the owner was smart enough to remove the 318i tag. laugh.gif And a 3 series just lends itself to this. I would have thought the owner of an S class would be above this sort of thing, but then again he parked on the car park of my neighbour, and my neighbour clearly doesn't drive an S class. I was tempted to call a guard, but then again it wasn't my car park he parked on. Unfortunately. (It was in the middle of the night, and the guards have the tendency to get the owner to the car, at any time of the day, if I pressure them enough. biggrin.gif ). The spots that are owned by someone are clearly marked.

Yup, Camaros sound great. Even the V6 from 2002. *roar* Wonderful. And actually quite comfortable if you sit in front. Just not very fast. biggrin.gif

A 2002 Camaro V6 (the baby one), yes. Not for a long distance though. It's a fun thing, though the new one is obviously much better. Or the old ones, from the 70s (though for other reasons, and not in the traditional sense of a good car).

Hm, they seem to be bright enough during the day (haven't properly tried, cause usually when they are on I am sitting behind the wheel). I can see the white dots in the car in front of me when I'm close enough (traffic light etc.). During the night I could illuminate the road in front of me, if I point them a bit downwards. It's rather diffuse though, but that's the point of it. If anything, they should shine in more directions. The dimming works well and brings them down to a reasonable level. I think original ones from VW, Merc etc. are brighter though. Dectane LGX-08, if you were wondering. Bought them during an overseas trip for around RM 120. (The cables and the screws that came with the set seem a bit crappy though, but I hope the cables will last cause I've used them).

Is it really a SL55? Or is it a SL300 with a body kit and a badge? biggrin.gif

wow, a 1976 911 is really something special. I envy you for that one.

Nice photo there, although to my liking it's a bit too much HDR.

Spotted this BMX car outside of a consumer electronics shop. Taken with my cell phone, so excuse the quality. Couldn't be bothered to edit the photos either. Anyway, not a big fan of the X5 usually, but like this it's somehow cool.
