Dr. Yeoh isn't that expensive... I just bought my 2 GPs (Bacon and Omelette) there for a check up last friday. It only cost me RM31. and that's also cos I got an antibiotic for omlette.

And I went back on Monday cos Omelette injured his leg while playing with Bacon (Bacon is too big and clumsy) It cost me RM50 for a shot and some medicine. Omelette just sprained his leg.

So I think it's ok.. But I don't know how much Dr. Jenny used to charge.

I just got a peruvian from pet lovers in Mines. They have a few Peruvians and Shelties there. But they sell for RM188. They charge the same for Coronets as well.

They don't sell any of the cheaper ones like Shorthairs or Abbys.

I managed to train my omelette to piss and shit in the tray. It took me 2 days to get it right. I started by finding out where he likes to do his business. Then I put the tray at that location. I also made sure there is some shit in the tray. So he knows that is where he likes to do his business. I also found that my omelette likes to do his business in his pigloo. So I moved his pigloo over the toilet. Now he piss and shits in the toilet 95% of the time.

My other GP Bacon is not so easy... He just piss and shits anywhere he likes.... And he shits a loooot.... I still can't get him to piss or shit in the toilet. That is the only place he does not piss or shit.

I guess some GPs are easy and some are not. Now Bacon is being a bad influence and has gotten omelette to follow him. I had to separate them for a while, to get omelette trained again.

Its up to you..for me I just put toilet mat as my Toffy just poo n pee in the toilet..only put recycle bedding in the toilet so can absorb their pee

Agreed with you..some GP very hard to train..my Minie..it take me almost a week before she fully pee n poo in the toilet..your method same as mind..I figure out their favorite place to pee and poo first and put the toilet to that side..they always love to poo at the corner..so just bought a corner toilet will do the job..and make sure you put some of their poo in the toilet also

Hi all, Im AL da Great , more into snakes especially pythons. im helping a fren here who in charge of Weekend Morning Talk show called Hujung Minggu Malaysia aired on TV1 from 7.30am til 9.30am.

They have this segment called Aksi Si Comel, where every Sunday, one animal will be appeared in the segment with the owner. The hosts will ask the owner about the basic care of the animal. The purpose of the segment is to educate people the right way of keeping animals.

Here is the detail;
Name of the Segmen: Aksi Si Comel in Hujung Minggu Malaysia
Tv Station : RTM
Channel :TV1
Language: Bahasa Malaysia
Duration: 5-7 minutes
Storyline: The host come to your place, then straight to ur animal cage, interview owner abit about food, basic care n such then the host will go back

Before this the owner have to come to Angkasapuri Kuala Lumpur to join the segment but this time , they want to visit your house coz based on their experience, bringing the animal to the studio will make them stress.like before the host will ask basic husbandry about the animal and wanna see how animal keeper kept their animal.

mine she poo 85% in the toilet tray ... pee 80% standing on the tray shooting out

wah...today i hbskn rm90 for my 3 gps..consultation charge Rm 20++, treatment rm 30(he just check2 the fur, give 1 drop ivermectin and sapu cream to my piggy ears) ..medication (he gave me small cream for my piggy ear and small bottle of ivermectin) huhu
i take my gps to Klinik Veterinar Ampang...haish...i think so expensive there...
after this think don't want to go there laa...
the Doctor are friendly but i think he's not the right person to treat guinea pig.

anyone know any vet that can treat GP in JB?

Cuz I keep on picking up its poo poo and dump it to the toilet area. It never poo anywhere else.
