Hi Folks,
Anybody using Philips HTS 8140 SoundBar...?
I'm intended to connect it thru Astro Byond especially.

U can use the normal RCA/AV cable..and from the soundbar switch to digital coax..

oo..bought almost 4 month ago from Harvey Norman..this was a display set and still look and working good..with ipod slot and bracket..they sell for 1400 but add another 150 for another 2 years extension warranty..how about yours??

Philips claim this is 5.1 but for me the actual 5 speakers are better..but overall i am very happy with this unit..the bass and the sound also good..linked with my ACRyan player via optical and also good enough for me..the main reason for me still the look and no more mess with the wires..

I'm end up buying Sony soundbar HT CT150 [Rm999]....original price if not istaken abour Rm3200 for Philips HTS8140....

soundbars need a nice room to fully enjoy its pseudo surround...if your room is wide and open like living rooms then no point...
