FOR THE EPIC WIN, THANKS TMNUT!!!

C:\Windows\System32>ping www.google.com

Pinging www.l.google.com [74.125.19.104] with 32 bytes of data:

Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

The above is an example of what i was talking about earlier when my DDLs are on.. pings skyrocket like mcb.... surfing like $!^%@$!^%@

Below is another set with none on:-

Pinging www.l.google.com [74.125.19.103] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 74.125.19.103: bytes=32 time=188ms TTL=53
Reply from 74.125.19.103: bytes=32 time=185ms TTL=50
Reply from 74.125.19.103: bytes=32 time=187ms TTL=51

What a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!!! TMs definitely deprioritizing my traffic when some form of downloading is going on... hmmm....

@onscreen

Thanks for the suggestion, but i've already done that, no difference at all to my ping issue when I'm saturating the link, as i've mentioned in my post above.

INTERNET SERVICES DISRUPTION DUE TO CABLE WORKS ON AAG & APCN2

Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to announce that its consortium members have detected cable faults on the Asian American Gateway (AAG) and the Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) submarine cable networks linking Malaysia to the United States (US). The consortiums will be carrying out repair works on site on Sunday, 10 October 2010 and the works are expected to be completed on Saturday, 16 October 2010.

Their new excuse for crappy service.. how many times can a cable develop faults in it's working lifetime lol.....

I'm glad my DDL speeds are unaffected though... still running full steam ahead at 450 kBps...

For non-premium, I presume?

My own premium HF, MU and RS are steady at the usual 450 kBps tonight...

Goin fine for me.. whatever they've done, all my issues at TTDI have been solved, fingers crossed..

DDLs going steady at 440-450 kBps and surfing while maxing out the line is smooth again with not much latency to most sites including FB and others.

Thanks TM! Good job for fixing the net at TTDI again.

Speak for yourself ipohbee. Not every area is affected similarly.

As for myself.. its going pretty great, and has been for quite a while since they fixed that high latency problem while surfing sites whilst fulling loading the line with DDLs...

Getting back the usual 440-450 kBps for all major filehosters.. so i don't know what you're talking about mate.

Don't generalize the situation when only a minority is affected.. The satisfied ones will never generally come out and praise the service when it works..

So here's one praise in TMNUTs favour from me to counterbalance all the flak they've been getting... When it works, it works well... And before anyone claims i'm a TMNUT employee.. you know from my post record that i'll b**** and moan like the next person if the netz don't work...

Weird, that "minority" can make this thread go V8.  rolleyes.gif
You said you moan and b**** before, so maybe iipohbee is like "you" last time ?

The 'minority' is basically the same fellas reporting the same problems over and over again.. the same suspects over and over again and thats like how many % of the millions of TMNUT Screamyx subscribers in the country?

I rest my case.

And yes, if there's a problem, i complain about it too... but TM deserves praise where it is due.
