Appearently, Malaysian has been pretty updated and modern nowadays, they say screw TV1 and Astro and demand latest news by checking on cyberweb, many of them could be WiFi'ing in mamak stall with their iPhone or android.
Unfortunately, TELEKOM Malaysia is totally unable to coupe up with the demand, what add salt to the wound, all their techies went and join the football club at mamak stall so expect this 1Malaysia 1Lag to last until Monday. Of course, as usual, their agents know nothing and even if they do, according to the script, they will not tell us anything useful. |

The situation at my side is pretty grim. Since midnight, the connection has gone from relatively normal (60 kbps) to hellish, when it decided to flip me off and refuse to load any website properly, let alone do so in short time.
I'm forced to restart my modem when nothing else can be done, but that too has only remedied the problem temporarily. For a very brief time (i.e. less than 5 minutes) before the connection slows to a complete stop. As I type this, I have restarted the modem 5 times since midnight. The problem is also all reaching. Both local and international sites are affected. I suspect it's my modem, but I need to confirm it's localised. |
