Nokia charger USB cable 8GB memory card earphone screen protector (given by the shop) User guide and CDs I think is a few items less compared to the previous 5800 package |

QUOTE(eidda @ Jul 1 2010, 08:20 PM) Besides that, you can also try updating the firmware through the phone itself :Settings --> Phone --> Phone mgmt --> Device updates Make sure your phone is connected to WLAN first before you do that I have tried this yesterday and it works, thanks to my friend |

On the first page, i saw this :
Camera Tweaks Sound Off & High Quality Shots 1. For camera sound off just sign & install, set all profile WARNING TONES to OFF I tried setting all profile warning tones to off but still the same. I not sure how to sign & install. Does that means we need a hacked phone to do this? Sorry I am still a noob user of 5800 |

Even with killme, mine can only last the most is 2 days without heavy uses. And I've terminated most of the unimportant programs that eat lots of power. Tell me? QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jul 21 2010, 01:55 AM) if yours can last 4 days with average calls and sms using original 1320mAh i will side bet with u for my nokia n900 hehehe I think i may need to explain a bit in detail 1. I usually off my phone when sleeping at night 2. Average 2 calls and 5 sms per day 3. Somethings use my phone to play with garmin and other software (around 1 hr per day) 4. I usually off my phone when charging it (i think this is the reason why the battery can tahan longer). Last time i used the same charging method to charge my china phone, that phone max can tahan 1 week. QUOTE(navilink @ Jul 22 2010, 08:32 AM) i thought 5800 already A-GPS enabled? blur.. i go find out first, thanks.. i use it in my car that day, unless u say car window also cannot QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jul 22 2010, 09:18 AM) a-gps use data connection so it will get a faster lock = pay money I read the front page, under GPS Enhancements, it says : Recommended to use (1) and (3) only chargeable of RM0.10 cents per connection for normal plan user and Free for unlimited data plan userintegrated gps = free slow lock time if a-gps on also very hard get a lock because car tinted too thick Yeah i agree with aspire2oo6 bro, A-GPS = pay money But you only pay 10 cents per connection, i think still cannot afford lah. I have tried Garmin with A-GPS so many times, so far only costs me a few ringgit nia This post has been edited by UncleCheang: Jul 22 2010, 01:43 PM |

QUOTE(hongchai888 @ Jul 30 2010, 08:44 AM) Oh ok thanks for the information. By the way why there make a navigation batch for 5800? Meaning that 5800 build in GPS quality is superb? Navigation edition comes with GPS license. So you don't have to buy the GPS license anymore. You can use the GPS function straight away.About the GPS quality, i feel is still the same lah, as long as you dont block the GPS antenna the signal is quite good also |

QUOTE(Forgotten06 @ Jul 30 2010, 01:57 PM) That applies when OVI maps is still in P2U status. But since now Ovi maps navigation is free for life, it makes no differences with XM version. Oic... so this navigation edition is just for naming purpose only right? No any other special things compared to previous version?Btw bro Forgotten06, you have any tutorial to hack the 5800 with v50 firmware? I read the first page, only can see the tutorial for v40 firmware... |

I didn't realiaze u replied so fast Like what i mentioned on the post above. there's no other way in hacking v50FW except by using CFW. In the meantime, i will trying googling it as well, will share the tutorial if i managed to hack mine, hehe... |

QUOTE(Forgotten06 @ Aug 2 2010, 09:01 PM) I tried installing ROM patcher 2.3 in my phone but it won't run. After reading a few articles only i realize that ROM patcher 2.3 needs to run with CFW. I think the only option for me now is to flash my phone with CFW. Do you mind to PM me the link where you download and flashed your CFW? There are too many CFWs in the net and i am not sure which one is the most stable one... Thanks in advance |
