That's the same method, just download the ROM from the site and use the method you mentioned. Works the same way.
APAC would be more suitable.

Thank again bro Forgotten06. I am downloading the firmware now and will flash it tomorrow.
Hope everything goes well. sweat.gif

You can try to login to the OPDA website and upload the file you want to sign.
But this will take maybe 1 or 2 days

I still dont understand why people like to hack their phone instead of sign your application with valid cert. Just apply your cert from opda.net and simply install a sign software application will do.

I want to run ROM patcher 2.3 in my phone (unhacked).
I have signed, installed the ROM patcher but it won't run.
After asking a few noob questions, i only noticed this ROM patcher need to run with a hacked phone...
Do you have any versions of ROM patcher which can run in unhacked phone? blush.gif

My phone hang (once) for the very first time after updating the the firmware to v51.
I have to remove the battery and restart my phone.
My phone was working perfectly before updating to v51.
I will test the new v51 firmware this week and feedback biggrin.gif

After updated to v51, I noticed a difference when lock / unlock the phone using the unlock button on the phone.

When you lock the phone, it vibrate once.
BUT when you unlock the phone, it vibrate TWICE

Last time (v50) it only vibrate once when you unlock the phone.

For those who have updated the firmware to v51, you may give this a try biggrin.gif

is it worth buying this phone cause I've read that there are problems with this phone. did the updated firmware fixed it? and do you recommend me buying this? thanks

I can guarantee you this phone is 100% worth the money.
Problem or not is depends on the user, not the phone itself.
You can even change the 5800's desktop like mine :

This morning, my 5800XM have no message tone/alert/icon. Iv tried to do hard reset, but no avail after i restored my message.

Don't tell me your speaker kong already?
I would suggest you to :
1. test the speaker - try to play a mp3 see whether got sound or not
2. if got sound, try use the default nokia message tone, i am afraid your own message tone may be corrupted

Hope this helps smile.gif
