Yup. Roccat Pyra Wireless mouse requires two AAA batteries. On while using and off when it is unused. smile.gif

so far so good on this mouse...been using it for 2 months mainly on games like CS, L4D, C&C and latest on SC2...all with smooth play and no problem at all (some review from china site complain about the flying cursor but i did not encounter any so far, maybe it's my luck so far)...but sometimes this mouse will not as accurate as those high end wireless gaming mouse eg. Razer Mamba or Microsoft X8 (for the price of rM169, 5000dpi, u really cant complain much lo)... biggrin.gif

the size of the mouse is not too big, it's smaller than Razer Mamba and X8, suitable for those with regular / small size hand...the weight is a bit heavier than mamba since it use 2 AA size battery...but the battery life is somehow last longer than mamba...i use 2 Energizer 2000mah AA battery with normal gaming and web surfing and it can last for about 1 week (whereas mamba can only last around 3 days)... smile.gif

for the build quality, it's somehow similar to those A4tech gaming mouse, still acceptable...just that the scroll wheel i feel a bit not so smooth la... tongue.gif

For those looking for a budget wireless gaming mouse, maybe you can consider this...as i already recommend it to 2 of my frens and none of them had complain about it... smile.gif
