Recently my Edifier S2.1D's remote spoilt already I think, unable to change to volume at all.

Do you guys still have controllers @ Inter-Asia?  Thanks.
*
Sorry bro, no more stock.
Edifier already stop produce the controller few years ago due to they cannot get the components used by the S2.1 controller anymore.

anyone can recommend which edifier model fit to my r1900tIII
*
Hi, please explain what you mean by fit? biggrin.gif
Is it you want to connect other Edifier speaker to your R1900TIII?
Thank you.

QUOTE(totziens @ Apr 26 2012, 11:24 PM)
What 2.1 speakers would you recommend for the budget of below RM500? Is the stock available now?

I plan to hook it up to the TV as well as smartphone (not iphone) for the sake of listening to internet radio (I cannot stand all the radio stations in Malaysia with the exception of BFM). So, I need at least dual RCA input.

I generally listen to rock music. To be specific they're mainly punk, indie and occasionally metal (not Bon Jovi but something heavier such as death metal, symphony metal, doom metal, etc). May also dig into alternative country, folk rock, new wave, electronica, etc.

By the way, is your show room opened on Labour Day (1 May 2012)? It was wasting my time visiting All IT in Digital Mall last week as all the speakers I wanted to check out had no stock.

Thank you.
*
Hi, for a budget of below RM 500, you may choose either the Edifier S330 (SRP: RM 439 or the Digital-version S330D for RM 479) or Edifier C3 (SRP: RM 429).

For your kind of music preference, we would recommend the Edifier S330/S330D to you as the audio quality is slightly superior as it is tuned by renowned HiFi Audio Expert, Phil Jones. biggrin.gif

*
hi lawtm. i'm afraid that you are out of luck bro. it is not recommended to connect the Edifier R1900TIII to other speakers as the integrated amplifier circuit is not designed for such use.

QUOTE(totziens @ May 8 2012, 09:57 PM)
Thanks for the recommendation. Will check them out one of these days at Low Yat since Digital Mall does not provide the models I am interested in.

Looks like S330 & S330D have only one pair RCA input. I am planning to hook the RCA input to a TV set and smartphone at the same time. Doesn't that sound like a problem? Please correct me if I am wrong.
*
No worries, the best is always to test first before you buy. biggrin.gif

Yes, it is correct that the S330 & S330D have only one pair of RCA input, but there is also another 3.5mm headphone jack on the controller which you can certainly connect your smartphone to.

However, if more inputs are your main criteria; the Edifier C3 is an excellent choice as it provides a 2 additional 3.5mm inputs which you can connect your TV to by using a 3.55mm-to-RCA converter.

QUOTE(totziens @ May 10 2012, 08:00 AM)
Do you mean there is a MIC jack instead of headphone jack? With headphone jack, it's for sound output. Only with MIC jack, I can supply sound into the speakers. Correct me if I am the one who got confused smile.gif

Does it has a MIC input in the first place? I don't see that and I have difficulties getting the specification (I expect to see MIC input in the specification but I don't see that).

Let's say there is no MIC input. I know I can use an external switch with multiple RCA input, but will that deteriorate the sound quality? Please advise. Thanks.
*
Yes, thanks for the clarification! Indeed you are right. My apologies on that. notworthy.gif

On your query regarding the external switch, it can be used and will not really cause a noticeable degradation in sound quality provided your connections are good. Of course, there is the hassle of manual switching I presume. The more convenient way would be an additional auxiliary input on the speaker itself like the C3, but if your mind is going for the S330; using a separate switch is indeed feasible.

Cheers! And do let us know how your setup goes later on. biggrin.gif

Hi bro kt94,

I think most of the shop running out stock now and the new shipment will reach next month.
If you need it urgently, you can give R2000PF, R2500 and R2600 a try.
R2000PF is upgrade version of R2000 which came with Radio, SD Card and USB input.

Hi all just bought a M1370 from All it. The unit works fine for a couple of days. Nowadays. It makes a constant buzz noise on the right speakers. I swap the speakers still the same. Even though I don't have any input to the subwoofer still noise is there. Also tried different power outlets around the house and office, still the same. But my other speakers around the house5.1 2.1, Sonic gear, Panasonic, Harmon Kardon okay ah.

Hi bro alvinfks78,

hi all ,, can give me some recommendation on which speaker should i buy. that unit must have this
1) have powerful bass
2) can be 2.1/5.1
3) and clear sound
4) but it should not reach frequency that make the glass to break .

thanks for helping me .. smile.gif
*
Bro, what is your budget? biggrin.gif

If budget is not an issue, we would recommend the Edifier S730, the top end 2.1 system in our range. Or the Edifier S550, the top end 5.1 speaker system in our range.

Bro,

Do you connect it to another source like MP3, handphone and etc? Please help me to try it and pm me the outcome whether still got the noise?
Beside that, may i know where you bought the speaker from? I will check with the dealer why they can't reproduce the problem you encounter.
Beside that, we will report this issue to factory and get them to do a investigation.
Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience cause .

Is this hardware problem or software settings?

I use on-board soundcard,Realtek HD Audio Drivers.Windows 7 32-bit.

Please try to connect your M3300SF to another source, if still got the same problem, i suspect is the wired remote malfunction.

You can get the S330D @ A1 Plus, Digital Mall.

The bass respond of R2600 is very good and i don't think you need to add another sub on it.

just want to ask.
just now i test hcs2330 in a shop plugged in to my phone. i feel like the bass is not solid enough compared to my old m1335 . i tried push the bass full and it is really under performance for me. could it be that my phone is not good enough to push it or really it is that speaker ?

as i see that the bass max is 9 and treble is 7/8 .

do guide me. thanks
*
Bro alexooi17,

You will feel the hcs2330 weak because you tested it at open environment. The hcs2330 will produce solid bass if you test it at your home.
