We played like sissy. Countless of loose ball, Man City spotted it and converted it to a goal. Anelka was completely locked. Our midfield cannot do anything against the three big size midfielder even Barry. Drogba was not where seen. Underestimating Dedryk Boyota was a big mistake we've did. He are as solid as Richards and the only time we went pass him was Zhirkov and converted into a foul. Other than that he was solid as rock. Essien was okay tonight, not really worth mentioning. The only thing I spotted was we miss Lampard BADLY. Left and right attacking was okay but our middle failed miserably. Also, we did not test Joe Hart properly. 14 shots and less than half on target.

I wouldn't want to call 7 as a jinx. This is the first time a Midfielder taking up the number after Mutu and I really hope Ramires can prove to us the number 7 is not jinx. Who cares if Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham drop points. I only care if that team lose, if you know which team I meant.
McEachran on the other hand, he didn't get much touch tonight but he did show some promising movements. I think I can firmly say that he will be getting involve into first team football much more compare with other youngsters. If you guys notice, first half we didn't do well in the middle. We have to rely on our wingers to deliver the ball into the box, which really made me frustrated because we still couldn't find Lampard's replacement. He's creativity is irreplaceable. But when McEachran came out, our middle force can go around a little bit (Around 80th +- minutes). Maybe I perasan lah but I really think McEachran is the kind of player who can make a difference. Ivanovic did a decent job against City. He did recover the ball, backtrack and do what he suppose to do. I think CA will continue using him as our RB as long as Bosingwa come back from injury. Ferreira have much more to prove that he is as good as he was couple seasons ago. This post has been edited by Belphegor: Sep 26 2010, 01:15 AM |

We Chelsea fans know how to behave ourselves, unlike the fans who belong to the team that are gonna play tomorrow. |

QUOTE(ijamz @ Sep 26 2010, 12:06 PM) HAHAHAH! Tevez.. He was once my favorite player. But he is just not as consistent as other youngster if you ask me. Yes hes still young but I also doubt City want to sell him to us. I'd rather get Robinho. if you guys realized, yesterday we're waiting for the ball to come to our feet. But City going for the ball instead of waiting for it to roll over. That already made a huge difference between us and City. And that's the reason why we kept on lose possession. Hopefully the lads will realized and CA can come up with something about it. This post has been edited by Belphegor: Sep 26 2010, 01:27 PM |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Sep 26 2010, 09:41 PM) 4 Questions I'm happy Bolton able to hold Man Utd on their turf. They already gave us a big favor by denying them three points and if we don't deliver the result next week, it's going to be hard for us until Christmas. Btw, please try not to taunt Man Utd fans in their thread. Chelsea fans are well-educated and we know how to behave ourselves. 1 - Should Zhirkov start against Marseille ahead of Malouda? He replace Ramires instead. Essien Zhirkov McEachran 2 - Should Josh start against Marseille ahead of Ramires? I'd put Mikel on sub instead Zhirkov or McEachran screw up. 3 - Should Bosingwa given minutes against Marseille? Only if hes fit to play. If want to regain fitness, 65th or 75th. 4 - Should we buy Neymar?? We'll see if Borini and other youngsters getting their chance to shine. We have too many strikers plus youngsters. KTBFFH! Come on lads! Show them who's the boss! |

QUOTE(jenglots @ Sep 26 2010, 10:02 PM) 2 - Imagine this, u are the youngest player ever played for UCL history, and you start the match. Imagine from the dressing room to the field, to the introduction of the team, to the coin toss to the kick off. How would he felt? Nervous, right? He already did sub in to replace in UCL. Yes it's too early to judge his ability but I think he deserves a start after two promising sub in. Plus, we're really lacking creativity up front and no one actually pass the ball, mingle around our opponent's side. I wouldn't say McEachran is our key to replace Lampard when he retires, but I also don't want to cancel out this option either. |

I don't know about the biasness of referee but I do see him misjudge on our players. Asides from the Drogs and Boyata incident, like Terry on Tevez. Clearly he moved backwards to make referee to call a fail because he knows that he can't jump as high as Terry.

Screw the past! Let's concentrate on the future. Marseille and we're at home. Tomorrow is the game and we need to let the defeats begone.

For me I'd say Ruud Gullit. He was the first manager brought us the glory after came back from Championship. Glenn Hoddle just brought us to 1st runner up on FA CUP during 1994.
