my experiment just now... upgrade to gingerbread 2.3.3...
but somehow all 3 button intermittent blinking...

step to upgrade...

rename it to update.pkg...
enter fastboot...
flash recovery.img...
flash reboot...
press vol up + down...
choose "Software upgrade via Update.pkg on SD Card"...
press shutter/camera...
sit & relax...

stuck at DELL logo around 20 minutes...
take out battery...
press vol up + down + power on...
choose "factory reset"...
phone restart & OLLEH logo appear... viollaaa...

i read from forum saying that blinking is cause of recovery.img & update.pkg isn't same but i confirmed that i dload both together...

i'll post above issue to xda-dev & see what they'll say about it...

any affect now??i never upgrade firmware my streak..and dunno how to do that...google it n worry it will damage my baby...

So far so good...

Here is the solution, hope it helps..

1. Stuck at Dell Logo?
- Flash http://mirror2.streakdroid.com/manii/407/update.zip using StreakMod instead of flashing update.pkg

2. process com.android.phone has stoppped unexpectedly and 'PreloadNetworkSetting is still at work'
- Goto Recovery Mode (Both Volume Key + Power), Choose Factory Reset.

3. LED Blinking
- Flash 407 amss and dsp1 using Fastboot tool

The problem seems depends on the different batch of streak.

Because there is no any problem occurs when I flash my streak (USA version).

But a lot of problem when flash my wife's streak (dynamic version).

I started using dell streak last week, but it is keep shut down or just blank screen until the battery finish. I got no idea as it is shut down itself and I can just plug out the battery again and again.

Yes, no help on lagging directly. But uninstall dell stock apps will help, and it need to be rooted.

Mine is Dynamic set too. So far no problem when flashing.
Im running Longhorn 2.7.
