Hi guys, I wanna a load of questions about xbox 360 elite because i wanna buy it ..could u all help me?

1) How much is the latest price for xbox360 elite?
2) Wht is the content they give if we buy xbox360 elite?
3) Wht is the differences between original xbox 360 elite set and modded set?..
4) from wht i know,the modded set can play pirates game..but is the pirate game have a really bad graphic?
5) Is the game price is much more expensive than PS3?

a)elite now costs between RM1200 -1300
B)a regular tv cable, manuals, controller and headset...if you can get it there are some special combos like the lego batman/Pure 360 Elite bundle
c) an elite set unmodded can go online without fears of being banned by Microsoft and the modded one can play fake games but beyond that there is no difference in the retail package
d) no pirate games do not have bad graphics but it would be better to buy the original game instead as it is legal for one and you wont get your machine banned by microsoft
e) depends on region and the retailer but for the most part games are the same price as the PS3's

a) yeah the price should remain consistent at that time
c&d) yeah it can but you will be taking a great risk in doing so because Microsoft can detect modded consoles and straight away ban it, and yes modded consoles can play originals as well but it wont matter as said before if you go online the modded hardware (not the software) will be detected.

nope unmod consoles cant play pirated games, they lack the hardware to do so.

can i ask one more question ..so between modded n unmodded one...which one do u prefer n much better?

modded: can play both ori & pirate game but cant play on9 (banned)
unmodded: can play on9 but cant play pirate cd (only ori cd)

i would choose the original unmodded console, this is from someone who till recently thought that unmodded consoles were a waste of time. But now with Xbox Live and downloadable content available it makes sense to go online and further the lifetime of your games. So for me the unmod console has some great advantages.

yep bro, modded consoles do not render originals useless but the hardware used to mod the 360 leaves a very significant trail behind.

xbox live=a service to go online and download videos, arcade games, dlc and the important part is online multiplayer..visit xbox official site for basic knowledge

downloadable content can be anything from extra costumes to special guns to even full levels. Many times developers take the initiative to prolong a game's longevity. So for example, Splinter Cell Conviction has a new level download coming soon, so that means after i finished all the levels on my physical disk I can go buy the downloadable content which will add an all new challenge and experience to the game.

As for XBox Live, this is the reason to buy an unmodded console, you can go to the XBL Marketplace to buy full sized games as well as Arcade games which are smaller and casual but still a lot of fun in fact one such arcade game is Earthworm HD...and there are hundreds more Arcade games you can buy. But the main selling point of XBox Live is the fact you can play with friends, this is perhaps the best reason to keep playing a game. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is my personal favorite as of now, I played with my friends till the wee hours. We blow each other up, shoot each other and have a great laugh while doing it. In my mind Xbox Live is a huge asset to the person buying an unmodded console .

Hello. Just wanna share some opinions

I bought an Xbox 360 elite two months back. Since it's pretty recent so maybe I could share some thoughts.

Like hitman said elite cost around that but I got mine a little bit expensive. Maybe because the offer comes with extra stuff.
I got it for RM1450. Elite set Forza Motorsport bundle. 120HD. It comes with 3 games. Forza Motorsport, Lego Batman and Pure. Two wireless controllers, and a headset. A network cable to connect to internet.
Unmodded console.

There's also another Elite bundle set. Probably the same price but it package offered is different. It comes with two games. Gears of War 2 and Halo 3 (or Halo ODST). I don't remember. And you get a 12 months Xbox Live Gold Membership. I think that is the only difference.

If you feel like playing multiplayer with other fellow gamers theb go for the second bundle. If not then get the first one. You can always purchase your Gold membership later.

I would say you should go for unmodded. Play original games with original hardware give minimum risks of anything that can go wrong. I'm not saying I know everything about but using pirated software would usualy bring problems and would cost you more probably eventually for repairs and stuff.

better get halo/gow2 pack,got 3 month gold card.and thats the latest elite.

But I got the Forza bundle cos I didnt have any of the game from my previous console. I already have GoW2 and I didnt really need Gold that time. Hehe.
So I took that one.

GOLD membership is where u can go to multiplayer game,access marketplace..join chat room (party)..while to get best services u need to pay for it...

while if ur account is silver..i think u can only access marketplace..
