My guess.

- Banana and no banana (i don't think other Chinese communities in other countries have this distinction)

- Special words such as "lui" for money, "ba sat" for market...

Any others?

When i am in HK, i use "ngoi mai".

In HK, they call lemon tea as "ling cha" (which is shortform of lingmon (lemon)).

In Malaysia, i think people call it as "ling mon cha".

Some Chinese can be quite dark (even in China), most probably because of the work.

Well, sometimes, i can see a few Malaysian Chinese which fairer skin although majority of them are a bit darker than similar ones in HK or Taiwan (PRC too!)

Many Malaysian Chinese often directly use English term to describe something.

For example, most call it "broadband" as in English.

In HK for example, they call it "fun pan" which is the actual term for broadband in Chinese.

In China, Taiwan and HK, they all pronounce English names based on Chinese character, sometimes, not only it might be strange, but also confusing.

Sheraton hotel for example, in Cantonese....."Hei lei tun"

Chanis of course  dont want to learn the tree language.

the topic of interest is seriously going off thread...

but seriously there have been some really idiotic posts here which was uncalled for... especially the one who instigated those posts (not the TS)

it is Malaysia's diversity and acceptance which is the main strength of the nation... destroy that and you destroy Malaysia...

there is already a growing vacuum between the survivors and free-loaders of this country and if this continues... well i wish all the best especially to the free-loaders as you are the bulk
