This!, couldn't agree more..

my first thought of FFXIII at least can control 4 character during battle.. sadly only 3 same as ff7 / 8.. if can control 4(like ff9) (or swapping) like FFX would be great..

the graphic is superb, the storyline... images.. gestalt and eidolons also great.. but the game too simple lah... too straightforward

i need more free roaming style (FFVIII / FFIX) Style... can go from town to town... use airship / ships / trains / any transportation , Tons of Side Quest and more GF / Eidolons...... Final Fantasy series should at least played for 70 to 90 hours till we get bored or decide to end the game. rather than 20+ hours of game play.. and straight line game play.. from Point A to Point B.... at least give us some maze lah.. like ff8 (sewer's/ tomb of unknown king ) / ff10 (during yuna pilgrimage)

anyway this is my favourite song / theme from FFXIII


p/s : at least FFX is going to remake in HD version for PS3.. cant wait for it

change mechanic is ok, but dont spoil the game by making it too simple... going to point A and point B,, with straight objective like that... less puzzle / maze to solve... no free roaming.. u cannot even go anywhere u want... kinda bored lah..

at least let us explore secret place / other town or go back to starting town lah... that way better i guess...

Juction in FF8 is kinda suck abit.. because if u wanna be strong u just need to farm magic and junction into ur stats... i prefer upgrade weapon like FFIX / FFX and the crystanium system is pretty much same like FFX system.. not bad...

i WISH FFXIII got game like FF8/FF9 Card Game or FFX Blitzball game... would be totally awesome if got things like that.. rather than slaying monster 24/7 we can chillax playing side games that doesnt involve killing monster

out of 10 score for FFXIII i give 10/10 for graphic... 7/10 for storyline... 10/10 for battle style 5/10 for free roaming... 10/10 music / sound......

but seriously.. beautiful games like Final Fantasy Series deserve more than 50 hours of gameplay.. or maybe 100 hours.. i dont mind.. unless u go straightforward to end the game.. maybe need around 20-40 hours... if u do all sidequest / card game / blitzball .. maybe need more than 100 Hours i really dont mind..

1) Free ROAM!! , use airship / car / boat / etc to go from town to town....

2) Side Quest !!! chocobo forest / hunting rare monster / secret eidolon (gf) / ultimate weapon quest / rare items

3) Side Game : Blitz ball like , Card Games , etc2.. that can spend few hours by playing it during leisure time.. not only kill monster 24/7

4) Special Super hard boss... need to leveling / grind level till ultra strong only can defeat it.. like Special Monster Capture in FFX , Ultima /Omega weapon in FF8

5) More Eidolons!, i want to see Ifrit, Leviathan and Phoenix at least !! T.T

very well said.. and Duckies.. omfg... Chocobo race!! it would be epic if u can even customize ur chocobo for racing.. imagine race with 4 other players and can shoot crap out of anything.. oh hell... i really love ur idea..

yes!.. in FFXIII u just walk nearby to npc then it will auto-talk.. wth??.. last time when we stuck at certain place.. we can talk to npc to get hints to meet people or meeting place.. they will tell us go this way, or not here.. something like that

in FF8 or FF9 , whenever u talk to public.. u will get free gift (potions , gil , cards , etc) and u can play cards with them anywhere anytime!...

is there any proper forum / discussion that we can throw our ideas for the upcoming features in ff series?.. if got proper place sure we can throw some great idea tho...

hell, its true, no other game can beat Final Fantasy series when coming to RPG genre... it was one of the best since FF7 , till now..


so added to the list :

1) Chocobo Race!!! (customize-able chocobo to race with other people)
2) Chocobo Hot & Cold Quest , can hunt rare items by leveling chocobo / special items get via chocobo ride
3) Talk to people , by talking to u will get free potions / items / money / hints...
4) Eidolons Moar!!, 1 person 2 eidolons or etc
5) Card game or Blitzball-type game at least...

crap!! cmon final fantasy fanz!.. if the game at its best we sure wouldn't mind playing 100+ hours to complete the whole game right?

this is so true... i also dont mind if they lower down graphic but put more time on story line or free roam style of gaming......
u know like FF8 or FFX.. we feels like we're really 'into' the game.. the moment yuna starts the summoning.. we can feel the sadness and etc... likewise during FF8, the mission when attacking sorcerers... or using battle during both gardens... oh hell man.. i feels like im the one who's fighting at that time..

those games published by squaresoft are much2 better in terms of feelings, souls, storyline, gameplay and also tons of sidequest / other things to do..

last time i remember i keep repeating playing FF7,8,9 for like more than 10 times already... finish whole game.. then play again again again...

back in PS1 there are tons of great RPG game.. u guys remember
