Releasing alongside Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Japan will be the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning Edition Ver.2, pictured above. That Lightning-struck limited edition PS3, packing a 320GB hard drive for 37960 yen, arrives in Japan on December 15, the same day the role-playing game ships.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 then comes to North America on January 31, 2012 and Europe on February 3, 2012.

So according to that article, R3 will only have Japanese voices with English/Chinese subs and no English voices?

Instead of hearing Serah say "Lightning" we hear her say "Nee-San"? cool.gif

Square Enix has released a new video showing Final Fantasy XIII-2's updated battle system, including the new Instant Paradigm Shift, the QTE-like cinematic actions, and updated paradigm customization interface. The clip also shows Noel and Serah fighting alongside Snow.

FF7 to FF10 was still enjoyable to me. It was only when SQUARE became that stupid company called SQUARE ENIX, FF12 & FF13 became like shit.

All the good FF games were made by SQUARE and those days are long gone.

Dec 15 is for Japan only. If you can understand Nihon-Go then get that one.

R3 English/Chinese version with Japanese VA, English/Chinese subs will only be out on 31st Jan, 2012.
