congrats, time for side quest, treasure hunt trophy & platinum trophy.

after ochu is dead (by your death cast), just use com (fang), med,med....since u need med (try to use hope instead of lightning in this case).

just using optimize all to defending in this case & fang for offensive.
so far u dont really need to consider accessories at this stage. U need it when u battle with mission 63 & mission 65, where u need kaiser knuckles, genji gloves, magistral crest. others like super ribbion not so useful. gold watch, connoisseur, collector's catalog, sprint shoes are useful when u are farming gils in eden hall. getting tier3 weapon is more important for me.

here is my setting

Fang (Sprint Shoes, Genj Glove, Kaiser Glove X2)
Light (Sprint Shoes, Genji Glove, Kaiser Glove,Magistral Crest)
Vanielle (Sprint Shoes, Genji Glove, Connoisseur Catalog, Collector's Catalog)

harder boss is mission 63 boss, shaolonggui & long gui & the hardest is the mission 64 (if dont have the full HP limit & not proper accessories or weapons).

Added on June 22, 2010, 9:32 amthe difficulty of the boss is depending on hp level, so all hp level can win this final boss provided if u using the right tactic. but this is not apply to side quest mission bosses, shaolonggui & long gui are different stories.

congrats, look like platinum need about 130hrs+ to get it
i never able to kill adamantoise with highwind (although <50%hp left). i just use the cerberus & finish it in 90sec. no shrouds, just bahamut, debuf, rav till 999.9%.

Added on June 22, 2010, 4:10 pmfor treasure hunt trophy (if u are pursuing this), only each character need tier 3 weapon & the rest of the weapons need to upgrade all to tier2 (so u will have all the weapon in tier1 & tier2 for a moment & meet the trophy requirement)

In fact all weapon can be upgrade to tier 3 weapon, if u have the time to get all the trapz....good luck

Added on June 22, 2010, 4:17 pmso far my trick to get 999,999 damage is having vanielle to cast death (fang/light do the com,com), then quickly change to com,com,com. then repeat again. this way i can get quite number of huge damage especially fighting long gui & adamantortoise. daze only apply once, when u hit the monster, the daze will gone.

yeah i also having the same doubt with highwind damage (2mils damage, ) we both gotten platinum already...anyone try army of one (light), what is the damage? 99,999 x5 = 0.5mil damage? or more?)

Just yesterday my bontot itchy go fight adamantoise many time to get 1 more trapz, just to get malboro wand upgrade to nirvana & fight again with long gui hoping can ease the death casting. but shit happens, try 8X till i give up never able to cast death successfully killed it, then it stand up again!

i still just like using bahamut to cripple the leg then rav till stagger & then cerberus all the way. faster & no luck needed. SO guys, dont put ur hope on that malboro wand! just get to real fighting damage is more secure way.

how can u command snow to cast daze while u controlling fang? somemore 6x....
i wait long time also tak jadi la 1 daze casting....if u able to cast 6x daze maybe ur highwind will have lots of damage.

please try mission 64 & let us know if u able to 1x daze & 2mils damage with highwind. ..

i wonder what is the total damage of army of one by light if inflicted daze....

the total time finishing adamantoise is almost same like mine, just i am using bahamut to take down the monster, u are wasting time in bringing down the legs . if u using bahamut, i think ur time will be much faster.

fastest TP recharge, at eden hall, nearby the adamantoise, just 2battle with 2 army & 1 battle with 4 army (skip the behemoth king>forget the actual name, by using the stair short cut). this way is v v fast to recharge your TP even w/out equiped with speed sash. then go to the door, then go back to the hall again, the adamantoise will appear again....so u can keep on grinding for gils (platinum ingots) & your CP if u still need it...; sometimes Trapz...

SO in this case u lack of trapz for tier3 upgrade. please remember to use 36 Sturby bone b4 u using other component upgrade as it will give x3 the bonus.
Below is the most efficient way of guide to follow for weapon upgrade. basically using SC,PC,PA,UR. Normally SC/PC/PA is good for tier 1 & 2 weapon upgrade & tier3 only require UR. but along the process, u need tonnes of sturdy bones & vibrant ooze.

For lightning, best is to have lion heart weapon tier3 upgrade (as it will give u quick stagger capability, extremely important when u fighting with those bosses). Don't waste your time on the axis blade, since trapz is very rare item to get.

it is stagger the bosses quicker, u can really judge yourself compare to other character u using.
ATB recover not really, just equip with speed sash will do the work.
there are 3 components can do 3X bonus, sturdy bone, vibratn ooze...the other 1 i forgot. just all x36 of it will do.

always like this 1 la, trapz is much rare than platinum ingots, u still need 6trapz if u pursuing treasure hunt trophy.

as i mentioned earlier, atb recharge is v simple when u fighting army troop in eden hall (so u can forget about axis blade & just opt for lion heart instead). plus when u get the speed sash & still have many other accessories will help u to recharge the ATB. when u grow stronger & having 10K HP or more, u might not need to summon edilons also. just cast magic, rav & com will do.
as for fang u shud opt for taming pole for stagger lock option, below is the explanation.


Stagger Lock
"Prevents staggering of enemies"
Not as bad as it sounds, since other characters can still stagger
the enemy and the character can still raise the chain gauge.

Quick Stagger
"Allows instant staggering of enemies near their stagger threshold."
Allows characters to stagger enemies quicker than usual.

u should have fang/snow as sentinel, then 1 guy to heal (vanielle is prefer), then the other guy debuff 1st monster with slow once successful (fang is prefer, Sazh is ok but not a strong rav/com character),
Then focus on 2nd monster, cast imperil,deprotect,deshell, most important slow (daze optional). Then quickly all rav,rav,rav or rav,sab,rav till stagger (so lion heart or quick stagger weapon are crucial here), then com,com,com. normally it need 2-3stagger to kill 1 monster (depend on your weapon tier/ accessories equipped). so after no more stagger, quickly med,med,med or med,sen,med to heal, then syn,syn,syn or syn,sen,syn (to buff again bravery,faith & haste)
1 tip, whenever it cast multicast, u can shift to sen,sen,sen to reduce damage.

***Slow is v important here (slow pace the multicast). I am not sure if Daze is able to inflict onto the monster, u can try using Snow to do so. If it is successfully Dazed, then the damage will be far greater...

Using shrouds is a must in this case.

Killing these bosses are not so difficult, just need couple to try to get 5stars

Added on June 24, 2010, 5:35 pmu want fast CP, equipped with grow egg, then fight with shaolonggui. v v rewarding.
TP regenerate when u kill the Behemoth King & the Lion monster (i forgot the name), u 100% get preemptive attack in this case. normally 3-4 battle u can get 3 TP full, so u can summon any eidilon with 3 TP slot.
it is located at northern plain at GP. Just teleport to this location. Then go back to the cave (no need to go in), then go back to the monsters place again, it will appear again. So it is v v fast way to generate TP.

Somemore nearby there is a save point & chocobo waiting for u.

final trophy is the Treasure Hunt Trophy. This is like 20km marathon walk...lots of Gils & Trapz farming
