we always play as serah or majority of it, while lightning is playable in certain part just like in ff xiii but in minor part i guess, maybe in QTE, just my guess though

although i like where FF 13-2 new direction(if u can call it that), its live trigger is complete rip off of wrpg. but lol at one choice
