after watching the last 2 ep back to back last night, now I know why everyone was so pissed with this season finale

S1 ends with a huge bang on CDC, group on the run, future looks bleak
S2 ends with barn massacre, group spits, on the run again, future bleaker
S3 ends with a fart while many expecting shits, group safe, intact, and size increased, future look bright

IMO also Andrea's death scene is one of the worst in the series for the main cast
Also the Governor and his 2 idiotic lieutenants, if I see my boss gone apeshit gunning down your comrade, I'll put a bullet in his head meself!

S4? not so looking forward this time

well... at least they finally introduce The Horde, and I got a feeling it's the governor that's herding them together from behind

Slow start but picking pace and getting more interesting towards the end of the episode.

so it seems there's a new threat, most likely the virus has mutated, and now any living human can just get sick and turn into a walker. Interesting to see this original idea apart from the comic. Expect to see all hell break loose within the prison next episode.

the dead pig is already a hint, and maybe the "fresh" walkers outside the fence are another hint too

I'll bet there's a new disease, a mutated form of the existing virus that will kill it's host to turn into walkers

and up till now, even the comic still haven't reveal the origin of the walkers

it's mid season, so the plots are getting bored are expected
most of the series can't escape from this, even GOT also got its boring times

anyway... was expecting Tyrese the Black Thor goes amok after finding out who's the killer of his lover, and Daryl kicking Rick's arse after founding out Rick has exiled Carol...

but I guess those have to wait after the governor's arc

well, in the comic the governor is a cruel psycho, and the TV governor is almost totally different
haven't read the governor comic/novel extra story yet, but will check it out

from how the producer portrayed the governor is this recent episode, seems more audience will be rooting for him, he won't be another Shane that the audience will hate

anyhoo... a bit slow here, just watched the last 4 episode back to back during the weekend

the psycho children plot is almost exactly the same from the comic, but in the comic it was a twin boy, and it's

who pulled the trigger, without anyone's knowledge, which IMO is waaay more gritty than the TV episode.

Cannibalism also was in the comic, but their group aren't as big as those in the Terminus.
too bad they killed off Dale/Hershel early, else we might get the scene where Dale/Hershel's leg is eaten by them

Next season I think we should be able to see Tyreese & Carol come to the rescue, or the Terminus ran over by the Horde, or under attack by another group, hence their chance to escape

Also they haven't explained what's the big smoke Carol's gang saw at the cabin, with lots of badly burnt walkers.

oh yeah... that could be it, the moonshine shack

but when they burn it down there aren't any walkers around, and the smoke carol saw was burning for many days, and it seems to be a very huge fire
so it could be something else also

it's shown briefly when Rick's gang is chased thru Terminus

Hence it's confirmed those at the Terminus are cannibals.
