My interpretation is that he is a super nerd who knows a lot of stuffs(human wikipedia), probably with superhuman IQ(he said he is cleverer than all of them on multiple occassions). I don't think he has said anything about his occupation and to me, he can be anything. I don't think he is a science teacher though, cuz he know more than science stuff. He is just more needed to do science thing because none know how so they assign him a science role. Aside from his expertise in science, he seems to know a lot more about a lot of things and has a very condescending tone.


And hopefully Sasha survive the whole next season. She is too bad ass for stupid death although getting killed by human enemy is a possibility. Father Gabriel is like the Lori 2.0 to me, probably die next season and all fans will celebrate.
