Hah! This weekend I'll be busy but I'll add you on Steam.

So you going for SB system as well huh. I built my basic i5 2400 about a month ago, I'm not really a heavy CPU user but its not really that much more expensive compared to AMD if paired with a cheap SB mobo(Intel H61 board).

Today I experienced what the official multiplayer forums were whining about, losers who quit before the game ends which will result in no experience gained.

Played 6 games of 2vs2, 4 of which the losing team has 1 of the players 'drop out' when their team was losing and 2 of it, the players were level 10.

Now I drop from games occasionally due to lost connection, and I understand this is also common but it's too obvious when their team is losing the match and is about to get their last units routed, when suddenly someone 'drops'.

Really spoils the winning experience... though I still get the province I wanted, but the exp gained for the Avatar is so little. I don't understand why they must do that?

Play MO for real life experience , not game experience.. tongue.gif

Many kids out there don't understand the concept that you don't always win.

A very close battle. I had to engage an ambush to take this army down. Had to use my general quite aggressively.

You can play in low setting, at the end of the battle save it and you can watch it in HD later. smile.gif

Not really no. I just have an average Core 2 Duo with a GT240. Nothing great. Very average. I play the game with mostly high settings. Shadows medium and ultra sky.

hmm... IN SHogun 2 u cant set manual formation for your group? once you group your army you have to use the preset formation... is there anyway we can drag and drop the army ??

You can. It's always like this even in previous TOtal War games. What you want to do is don't create a control group yet. Manually position and shape your units one by one first until you got the formation you want. Then ctrl + a and then ctrl + 1

Normally i group my infrantry under the same group while my missile and calvary under another group. In this tw once u group ur oldier u cant shape their formation anymore.

Hmmm maybe you're right. But this is like the old total war games(before empire). It similar that way. You don't group before setting up your formation. So that when you are happy with the formation your army will hold that better. When grouped.

control group them first, then cycle through alt 1-9 (IINM got until 9 rofl) for preset formations. in prev TW like rome, they got explain the formation functions/looks etc. in shogun, they give stupid "names" and never even show the formation looks at all (well, i never go through the ENTIRE tutorial, maybe they show it there)

so its up for experiment.

personally, i do alt 5 in general, alt 3/4 if i wanna have my yari/naginata in the front or back in contrast with katana/no-dachi depending if i wanna be more offensive, or defensive, or specific tactical decisions.

naval battle is worse, might as well not formation as they try to move in formations, they will get jammed up by own/opposing ships. derp to max.
