Hi,

Just starting to get interested in HD media players. Anyone can recommend me a model. Requirements:
- HD player (1080)
- Able to stream from the net (but not just those usual websites like youtube etc)
- Can download torrents


Any recommendations?

I would suggest ACRyan. No regret till now.

Dune Base or BD-1..if you dont have any rmvb requirement.

Someone posts up personal reviews on different media players first... I'll compile them all on the first few posts before making the thread sticky.

To keep it simple and easy-to-access for everyone.. maybe we should come up with a few suggestions on how to put them.

azxel - someone did post a few good standard question/requirements for people asking to recommend, which I forget but it did say about what's their budget, networking and files they required to play.

Oh I was talking about..

asking those with media players to give their comment cum review on units they actually already own.. the requirements info is for them to fill up... so people who are interested can just read them as they are first instead of having the same question asked over and over again. It's not really a questionnaire to fill out... hehe

Would be useful if you indicated a budget as media player prices can range from a few hundred to 4-figure ringgit mullah
