Guys, I recently bought a RM15 stylus online. But I'm not happy with the product, it's not that sensitive, I have to press hard to make it work. What about those expensive stylus? Is it sensitive or just the same?

tongue.gif I actually stock some of these for sale, also not happy with them ... after doing some research I found out what is the problem with that type of stylus. Firstly the tip is kind of a rubbery material (though its conductive), which doesn't glide well on the screen surface, hence feels kind of sticky. Secondly, the tip is round. Thirdly the rubber is not soft enough. factor 2 + factor 3 = requires pressing down to produce a surface area enough to be registered as a touch. As we know, this is capacitive touch screen, its not the pressure that is registered but the surface of a conductive material (like our finger). Apparently that surface area has to be roughly 5 square mm.

Not all expensive capacitive styluses works well. In fact, if you google and search on youtube, many have DIY their own capacitive styluses which works better than those expensive ones with fraction of the cost. You can make a good sensitive stylus with materials from local supermarket and bookshops (for less than RM20, or if you have them lying around in the house, may cost you nothing).

Wow, that's a big budget. You can almost get any type of case, except the gold plated, diamond studded customized cases tongue.gif

There are quite a lot of cases out there in the market. Its hard to recommend to you if you simply give us a budget. You have to first decide on the following:

1. There is the Apple's design Smart Cover, but need to be coupled with a good back casing (to protect the back) - back casing includes those made by SwitchEasy, Ozaki, Speck, GGMM, Incipio, iLuv etc

If you don't like (1.), then proceed to (2 & 3)

2. Choose between Back Casing Only / Slip case / Folio Type / Rugged
3. Do you want light weight / slim or do you prefer better protection over weight/slimness
4. Do you type often and need a keyboard? because some cases comes with Bluetooth keyboard.

Once you narrow down to the descriptions above, come back here and ask again. Then we have a better idea of what to recommend.

i never used those RM 80, from my phones is all RM 3 per piece, now new ipad is Rm 10 per piece... i think RM80 is a bit better than those RM10 one, but imo, is definitely not worth it at all per value factor

purpose of SP is to protector the screen, thats y i choose those clear type, hardly any difference with other sp for me, when the sp is old, just remove it and paste new one, RM80 one can you change easily?

when have finger prints on the screen protector, just wipe it la, your new ipad without screen protector also got alot finger prints,

i do not like matte or those blink blink sp, pointless for me....

Agree +1. RM80 is an overpriced piece of PET material. Good SP has the following characteristics:

1. Does not obstruct or distorted the intended image
2. Minimum resistance to the finger moving/sliding on it.
3. Not easily scuffed/scratched (leave behind visible marks)
4. Stay in place and easily removed when needed
5. Stays transparent - does not change colour like become yellowish over a short time.

All the above does not equate to RM80. Possibly you pay RM10 for the material and RM70 for the brand tongue.gif
