Ok.. just bought 580EX II today and I'm totally noob and newbie in this..

Any site for tutorial or advice on how to use it/settings to get nice photos?

Please please dont be stingy on your knowledge biggrin.gif

Maybe you can learn how to fill-flash 1st? I think this is the most easiest way to learn flash photography for newbies.

Then after that, you can learn bounce flash.

Maybe u can ask ur fren to wear a hat under direct sunlight around 12.00pm in the afternoon.
Then, shoot with ur 580EXII direct on her face to wipe-up her shadow. Hope u enjoy!
