It is better not to rely on subtitles because it will improve your English listening skills.

If you rely on subtitles, after 50 years your English is still poor. 

Anyway, subtitles obscure the screen. I've seen horrible BM translation of chinese movies which are inaccurate or not detailed enough.

Recordings going missing is something already there since Max, I bet assto cannot address this issue so dont bring it up..............u hv to live with it there is NO guarantee u recordings wl be protected

I also have that problem but on HD channels only, mostly 831, 832, 573, 575.

When the problem comes, I will adjust the cable at the back of the decoder. That seems to fix it.

Will be asking the installer to come in and redo the connection.

I have experienced a 2 year old bad cabling that only affect cartoon channels LOL, change my cable and every channels come back to life

for DIY you can try to re tighten every F-connectors along the cable path

why do you need an in-line amp, do you have a very-very long cable run?

rf theory that is a whole discipline of knowledge, my guess is that somehow bad contact attenuate certain frequency 

you really do not need the amp unless you have 50m+ cable run, I am suspecting that your amp is going bad or F- connector contact problem

if your amp is located at the dish (an ideal location), it must be weather-proof to prevent rain damage

Yes..there are certain EPL matches chosen by Sky Sports in the UK that has been and will be in 3D..
In the Uk last season, the 3D matches were only available in pubs and clubs..
Only this season they will be gradually conveying it into households..
So I guess the matches that 3D will on Sky Sports will also be available on Astro..

i got 1 concern here. my current SD astro now is family package with 2 mini and sport. end up i paid around around rm75 for this package. let say i upgrade to beyond need to top up another RM20, what HD channel actually i get? saw lot of channel now offering in HD. Am i need to pay additional fees to get all the HD channel?
