....

You are using a normal coaxial cable to watch tv ?

If you plug in your notebook and watch a movie, it should be alright.

Normal tv / astro is not built for widescreen.

Get Astro B.Yond, then it should be oky

When i bought the TV there was NO ASTRO BEYOND. So this issue has nothing to do with Astro Beyond. So can someone tell me BESIDES installing Astro Beyond what are the other methods i can use to improve the picture quality and eliminate elongated images?

YOU CANT .

STOP DREAMING . Jesus.

Need someone to smack you with the reality hammer ?

Astro is using old tech, it was not built for wide screen. U can cry all you want but its not going to help.

You cant improve quality via cables, no such thing. At least not in the sense that you want.
