i started gym 2 months ago and i've visibly gained muscle and lost weight(fats). however i wish to lose more fat and gain more muscle by consuming protein. but alot of people said that losing fat and eating protein doesn't go together. need your opinions.
any reply, thanks x1000.

You are like saying you don't eat protein on a daily basis. Your fat comes from carbs, not protein.

sorry, my bad. the protein i'm referring to is whey protein.

Protein is in nearly everything you consume. If you mean whey protein, which I think you do, then there's no problem taking it, no matter what your goals. These 'a lot of people' deserve to get flushed down the toilet.

but i have another question here. say after 1 or 2 years of gym, you're buff with muscles. you decide to stop working out. will your muscle become saggy? or lose shape? coz "a lot of people" told me it'll be saggy.

Dude, firstly, don't listen to "a lot of people". When I started training in my early teens, I wished that I have gotten advice from great websites, books, magazines and experienced people in the sport. "a lot of ppl" have wrong ideas of what is right about dieting and training.

Yea, you should start taking whey now (actually, u should have started awhile ago). It won't make you fat if you're training hard. Your body won't waste such a precious commodity. I'm losing weight for Mr KL now and I take 315g of protein per day.

Added on May 31, 2010, 11:06 amAnd about your next question, how will you look like if you stop training? Basically you'll slowly transform back to how you looked like before you started training.

Another question. One scoop of whey is how much gms?
