I called cimb and communicate with xfers, only solution is to switch bank. and yes, i think u can if u get dbs, try with a small amount first, the issue with cimb is that the local transfer 10 digit number.  because the 17 digit number is a virtual account number under cimb for xfers.

cimb sg closed my acc few months back after for using over a year and a half....
then i asked my sister open 1 so i could use hers... now hers will b closed as well.. even tho i pledged 10k FD there d... lol. fken sensitive

Don't bother. They only have one branch in Singapore and atm machine is located there at that branch only. So if you want to withdraw money, you need to travel to that branch.

Better suggestion, just use bigpay to withdraw SGD if you really want to withdraw SGD to spend.

It have always been 1 branch since all this while. Nothing change. Nothing to worry about. Just sg govt way of doing business. If you are essential bank, you get more branches. If you are not essential, you get only one branch.

And even if you are right in that you could save RM400, so all those hardships you have to go through is worth RM400 ? How abt ur passport fee paid to the gov't ? If you are to count beans,... then renewing ur passport also must be included,....

And how many times were you able to travel using that passport for RM30k accumulated to go to SG ? How long would you take to accumulate RM30k in order to chg at KL money-changer to handcarry to SG ? 1 month ? 2 months ?

CIMB SG system down. Some users complaint money disappear from CIMB SG and CIMB MY and "nowhere to be found".

Your CIMB acct with them kena closed before har? You not alone I read news some ppl doing crypto trading also acct kena closed down.

Not sure about Msia banks but Spore banks very on the ball partly due to strict Spore MAS ruling or they simply too efficient. No wonder foreigner companies first time come Southeast Asia choose Spore as HQ. If that company more used to coffee monies style will not choose Spore.
