what weapon are you using?

have u try hit and run strategy?
and def when he trying to spray water?
have u try playing trap?
one advice* fight again and again. get used to his movement.

take it easy in the 1st 3 round. observe his movement and cut that ykk into pieces.

plus you should try wyvern fire on that monster
which ignore his def when attack him.

Well i did a setup on my win 7, using that brand and it's working perfectly .
But i'm not sure about your model.

But you could try this:
1. go to your setup file ==> right click properties ==>> set compatibility to respective O/S ==> Then install the driver.
2. Be sure to enable the psp xlink mode at the connection properties http://www.planex.net/support/xlink/set_xlink.html
3. if you are unable to find the psp xlink mode, repeat the step 1.(just fyi i did repeat this procedure countless time to make it work)
4. by default the win 7 will install the there driver, so make sure after u install change the driver from current to your correct driver.

ya everything is predictable except for the tail whip down.
don't know which side to block it

well before you start to blind, try cut off the tail 1st. I really mean tail 1st.
then only start to blind and attack his head only.
try my method
If you are lazy to cut off the tail, well you could just blind it and focus his head and press X to jump back if you know when he going to attack

just fyi, i don't use any FB to cut off it's tail.
I basically wait for him to fly up and blasting in the sky while standing behind him to prepare to attack his tail when he start to land.
if u make him dizzy, u r basically making urself hard to attack tail, as u know he tend to swing around his tail like crazy.
i'm not sure gaiachronicler is it using same method as i do when hunting ian and los?

you could try damage his tail 1st using hammer then throw boomerang to cut off his tail

Derlin = hammer god
even in real life he got a high score in hammering the machine

nope.
Bow u could use the arrow to attack the tail if enough dmg done on the tail(i mean attack not shoot)
for LBG and HBG after enough dmg on tail can also throw boomerang to cut the tail off.

with all talk about MH make me feel like wan to play again
