hi all
can i have your guys feedback on this 4mb streamyx
because im going moving to Malacca next month and i was thinking to subscribe it
but some people have said to me that the streamyx 2mb package is more stable compared to 4 mb
as im a hardcore online game player, stability is a must
thanks in advance

Depends on the port and DSLAM you get, it may be very good, or very bad. Luck of the draw, as they say.. and also, the distance of your house from the exchange will determine whether you can get 1,2 or 4 Mbps....

If you can get 4 Mbps, you may have a choice to be capped at 4 or 5... 4 is more stable than 5, coz it uses the FAST profile rather than the INTERLEAVED profile which adds more latency to your connection...

Been with 4 Mbps for 3 months now and so far, and i have to say its been pretty good for me so far... gamings been okay, PS3 gaming is not bad, latencies not too shabby... and speeds been consistent.. of course i'm on a good DSLAM and live less than a kilometer away from the exchange (CO) so that could also be a factor... (except for that one time where they miscapped my speeds down to 2 Mbps and i had to be escalated to ATS where they verified my problem and fixed it there and then, really good CS that time, i got to hand it to them)

I say go for it... if the stars align, as they say =)
