QUOTE(xbomer @ May 31 2010, 12:44 AM) guys, if i want to upgrade to 4mbps, should i go to tm point or contact any authorised reseller? Trust me, go to TM Point. I went to the authorised reseller at One Utama and it's been 14 days with no sign of my 4 mbps package. I asked the guy to let me know on the status about three days ago and it's been three days, still no call. Unless you're going to a trusted and reliable reseller, go directly to TM Point.

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread, but whoever's thinking about signing up for a 4 mbps package at the TM authorized reseller at One Utama, don't. They are gonna take your application and store it somewhere in their drawers for dust collecting. I called up TM today and they said my application had not even been processed. I trust the TM guy because he seemed pretty trustworthy. I also asked the guy at OU 3 days ago about the status of my application and he said he'd call TM and get back to me, but he didn't. I even left him my handphone number instead of my house, so there's no excuse. Honestly I don't even know why he works there. Yup. Just a warning so you guys don't waste your time.

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jun 1 2010, 11:32 PM) BU 2. what u wanna know? Added on June 1, 2010, 11:34 pmYou need to storm TMPOINT branch in Uptown. I get immediate results. Don't waste time with resellers, they only know how to take commission only. Hmm, that's pretty nearby. I'm from BU 10. And I did check with TMPoint in Uptown today on the availability of 4 meg in my area, but the receptionist told me that BU 10 isn't covered. I found that a little odd considering I checked this year on the status page of my modem and it read "4096/512". If I'm not mistaken, that means 4 meg is supported, right? It used to read "1024/256". Also, my mum called in earlier this year to ask about the package and the workers at TM told her that 4 meg was available here, but to hold back because they were upgrading the cables. Thing is, I've tried to upgrade once, and that was last year when 4 meg wasn't available here. I have a feeling they might just be checking my old records and concluding that my area isn't supported. I told her to check again but she kept insisting she was right. It also kinda seemed as if she and a trainee were trying to sell me Unifi, so I don't know; I might just be paranoid.
