wanna check with you guys here...
are you using the RM268 4Mbps package or the Blockbuster Package at RM140?

Been thinking of getting a 4Meg line (using 1Meg now paying RM108 per month for 1MB + phone line)...

Of course RM140. Unless you are a massive downloader i don't think you need a 4mb.

I leave my Mac Mini on 24/7 just for that... sweat.gif pretty sick of the 160kbps speed for some time now... Anyway, will go ask the streamyx ppl about upgrading...

Personally the whole downstream is 4096 is rubbish.. previously at my old place, my downstream is at about 5xxx with a 1MB package, download speed is like a 1.5MB line... Currently, I applied a new 4MB Blockbuster line and the downstream is also stated at 5XXX but I seem to be getting between 2MB - 3MB+.

Everything was ok in the afternoon till I went back yesterday evening and found that my 'internet' light on the modem was red while the Dsl light was ok... check the security logs in the modem and found that it was experiencing some 'username and password authentication failure'... checked with both their D-Link and my Belkin modems and found the same thing.

Called 100 and they asked me to call the agent/contractor, call the agent/contractor and he asked me to call 1300889515, call that number and spent 20-30minutes (mostly waiting on hold) and multiple times asking me to call the agent/contractor as everything was apparently under 'warranty'

Apparently the girl on the line reset my port after 20mins on the phone and it still didn't work... what kinda problem do you guys think this is? Has anyone encountered this issue before?

I had been resetting my port from last week until now atleast 5 times, non of them solve the issue jus like yours. I wondering wtf is happen to the 4mb user line?
Seem like a lil serach in the LYN, found out mostly 4mb user got the problem.

dang... so your problem isn't resolved yet??!
Did you lodge a complaint and ask for a rebate? I'm gonna do so if it's not settled by today... mad.gif

Any word on what the problem root cause might be?
