I just upgraded to 4mbps but the speed I am getting is worse than my 1mbps.

Normally I get 200kB/sec =/-. Now it's maxed at 150kB/sec.

Already got higher download speed but the max is 3.5mbps (speedtest & speedometer) no matter what IP I use.. How to ask them cap higher so that I can get 4mbps?

Download is 2xxkB/sec ~ 32x kB/sec only.. doh.gif Previously with 1mbps is 21xkB/sec ..

My download rate fluctuates very rapidly after upgraded to 4mbps.
It jump from 80kB/sec to 280kB/sec back and forth ..
Not like previous 1mbps (180kB/sec ~ 210kB/sec) ..
Anyone know what's the problem?

Nobody can answer?

Downloading from rs, mu and hf .. my speed fluctuate rapidly from 50kB/sec to 2xxkB/sec back and forth.. never reach 400kB/sec..

That's what I hate to do ..

Check modem, ping ip, ask for alarm system, turn on and off modem, etc .. bla bla bla.. everytime the same thing for over 10mins.. Waste my time..

Operator never really help .. I don't wanna call 'em up.. All they know is follow script and write report..

After testing so many things .. I guess those host are limiting my download speed especially RS.. send, pause, send, pause, etc.. That's why my speed fluctuate a lot ..

I'll try to use more on MU or HF as I can reach 300+kB/sec with them ..

I'm a free user anyway.. Wonder if there's any trick to get faster download..

Downloading with IDM, Jdownloader and Flashget all seem same..
