QUOTE(lksing78 @ Jun 4 2010, 09:34 PM) I didn't do anything..I never even drop this Garbage SH*T been with Dell since my first desktop (almost 10 years ago) and i can assure you that their warranty/CompleteCover service should be much better than that. prolly you got yourself a bad CS. on the laptop side, both my old Inspirons got their loose (and i mean loose, not even broken) hinge replaced (with a brand new lid cover as well), the 6400 got the whole keyboard replaced with just a loose 'U' key.I was on my regular gaming session by opening and closing the lid At 1st it was not that noticeable ..as i don really mine a small gap..not usually that pickky but once the gap getting bigger and bigger i was like 'Oh my this is serious man" And my friend and customer was like "Are you sure you brought this for rm4k ,it look like and piece of junk" So i call out the dell service center and forward him the photo that i shown to u guys here. And that's how I go a bull crap answer...about wear and tear issue bla bla bla.. Not even a year man...my 3 year Hp Laptop quality are 10 times better then this piece of crap it might depends on how you speak to 'em at times. try calling other customer service agent and see how it goes. |

QUOTE(Michaelbyz23 @ Jun 5 2010, 12:03 AM) who is the guy who answered ur phone? the bad one i know is named steve. btw, ur warranty is 3 years complete cover? if not , i think they wont help fix.. the period of the CompleteCover is never an issue. it will be the same quality of service and Dell must honour the warranty. unless your unit only comes with 1 year CC and it broke down in the 2nd year. |

QUOTE(chowdm @ Jun 16 2010, 11:09 AM) That is horrible with m11x QC... been pairing Orochi with my M11x for almost 3 months. wasn't quite comfortable with the size ever since i bought it but got used to it after some long hours with it every day. wired+wireless mouse do make it kinda a nice portable gaming mouse. the caveat would be the size though. anyway, if you're a palm user and do prefer bigger mouse, go for Mamba. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Price is RM4010.....i m looking forward to my m11x.....now i m thinking what gaming mice to be purchased.....personally i m quite like Razer Orochi....but there are some ppl claim tat there is some problem with Orochi pairing with m11x....anyone can give some recommendation... QUOTE(emino @ Jun 16 2010, 05:08 PM) Just finalized my deal with Dell. so the top up remained at 1k? that's a great offer you got yourself there. My new M11X with Core i7 will arrive within 2 weeks time. A week after that someone will come to pick up my old M11X. They give me 1 week for backups. Really thankful to the support officer who helped me till the end of the process. This post has been edited by teikwing: Jun 16 2010, 09:41 PM |

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Jun 22 2010, 05:14 PM) how about multi tasking with i3 ? will it lag? or causes lower performance ? since its only have 1.3ghz and turboboost until 1.7ghz many were talking about multitasking and their definition varies. some were talking about video editing and conversion while surfing, music and movie at the same time, some might want to game and have video editing running in the background etc. you see, it varies. hence, the the processor's capability handling that kinda multitasking varies too.it would better if you can define your type of multitasking and probably we can advise you better. it all boils down to your everyday usage, needs and what kinda multitasking do you do. many M11x users here are on SU7300. been on with SU7300 for 4 months and i don't notice any lag or dip in performance when multitasking (Firefox with 5-6 tabs min + downloads running, iTunes, Windows Live Messenger, occasional Adobe Photoshop CS3, uTorrent, file transfer etc.). while gaming, gamebooster will be enabled and most of the time I will just leave Firefox running. Hardly any noticeable lag too. and ohh ya there's no turbo-boost for i3s btw. |

QUOTE(raven143 @ Jun 22 2010, 07:25 PM) have been wondering, my M11x last about 3 hours plus on Balanced battery setting... is it normal? the advertised 8hours under what setting? i got around 7 hours hours with integrated graphics, WiFi on and brightness at 1-2 bar. merely web browsing. are you on integrated or GT335M? 2.5-3 hours for me on dedicated graphics. |

QUOTE(emino @ Jun 29 2010, 02:09 PM) that's a known fact if you visit NBR often. btw, thought of getting the Seagate Momentus XT and use the current 500GB as an external HDD. but the XT is nowhere to be found. This post has been edited by teikwing: Jun 29 2010, 07:23 PM |
