are there any m15x 5850 gddr5 user here? need real life review

consumer should be educated the i7 is ULV....dell should have the responsibility to educate instead of misleading...

i must point out something...if m11x can fit a performance series i5/i7, of course the engineers will be more than happy to do so. they are creating miracle. but its impossible. *at least for now* so stop dreaming or complaining that the engineers are not doing their job well. maybe u want to try it out yourself?

m11x is already a miracle.

anyway, a comfirmed m15x i7 + 5850 owner here. getting from factory outlet USA if no1 in lowyat can give good price....

1st u need a USA postal address (catch my link XD)
2nd u need to know its a refurbished...i myself will get the best warranty they can offer....3 years CC+PS

anyway, their price are really attractive. really really attractive. my fren (a forumer) is probably getting i5 + 5850 wif 2 years CC for rm5k excluding shipping. i will wait till theres i7 + 5850 model....gonna OC it till 5870 stock clock, its just 11%. =D

disable vsync in game graphic option =)

totally false.

if your GC is too awesome, the fps of the game will go too high till theres screen tearing issue. thats why you need to enable vsync.

but alienware had just refreshed the crossfire update. i guess they wont include 480m in the near future....

maybe you can try to change the MoBo too, slap a gtx480m, i7 940xm, then it can run 1333mhz =)

when its possible, you wont want it anymore because there will be stronger cards coming out. so stop dreaming and buy the latest tech the engineers can provide and be happy with it.

well, 6 months later when we have gtx480m SLI, 5970 CF aka 5870 x 4 will be available XDD

im afraid tactx wont have my vote. I tried razer imperial, steelseries xai, tactX, i would say steelseries have the best mouse among all manufactures. razer engineers spent too much time for the blink blink (fancy lights), steelseries mouse have the most solid build and accuracy. (dont talk about spec here, its just the build quality)

but if tactX and razer quality is good enough for you, stick to it because steelseries mouse designs are abit boring.

you need to know at least how long you are going to use it. if you need it for 3 years, den take 3 years. if you plan to change lappie every year (like me -___-) den take 1,2 years enuf.

haha, putochip if you got great price for m15x 5850 im waiting too XD of course i prefer local set if the price is not too much from usa set

gonna think of a good bag to carry it....not too big but just enuf to put m15x, a close cup headset, a mouse, charger XD

oops, seemed that im asking too much XD

err..a detailed explaination would be, right click desktop, go to nvidea control panel, go to display option, use nvidia scaling

that must be one hell of a education purpose if it needs alienware to get the job done

haha, as long as u sell urs and buy new one, urs is nt obsolete d. well, i guess maybe its alienware desktop tower.....as the previous desktop tower had released for few months, about time to upgrade? =D

siberia soundcard is just abit btr then crap in terms of SQ, the high and mids are not crispy at all =.= and the sound stage is so tight. get pico amp *drolls*

ask stringfellow take you for a real life ride....lol
