Check your modem/router. Happen to me once too the modem was unstable and when i switch to another one it run fine

Too lazy to post picture as im at office with my m15x instead, but as gaming are concern, the m11x can pretty much play most game at max ress with high setting.

For the screen size its kinda hard to say whether its too small as different ppl has diffrent perception. Best i can recommend is try go to Low Yet and test your self there. There should be couple of shop that has a test model but mind you those are r1 last i check.
