QUOTE(kuekwee @ Jun 17 2010, 11:52 AM) it's m11x what do you expect? it just using gt 335m a 2nd class GC. For a 11" laptop it's consider good. i know la m11x is like shit...but that not my point...my point is why on earth they design an online game which have sky high hardware requirement..?? if really requirement so high how to encourage more ppl to play...like wow if machine like shit still can play..but with Final fantasy..u need a super machine just to play...be realistic not all can afford a m17x or m15x..and with the sky high requirement i dont even think m15x can be on top of the final fantasy benchmark results... |

For your information the benchmark setting i use is LOW (they only got high and low) and based on the benchmark results.. su7300 4GB with gt335m DO NOT MEET the MINIMUM requirement of playing this game...
this shall be the first mmorph game with the highest minimum requirement to date.. According to http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/media/benchmark/na/index.html [Under 1500] Insufficient Performance Does not meet specifications for running the game. QUOTE(putochip123 @ Jul 11 2010, 09:38 PM) Well, i can say is, if u like the lighting of Alienware only, not looking for performance, then M11x is ur choice... it depends...i look at n82JV the notebook selling in malaysia has less battery cell compare to m11x..But if u are looking for performance, M11x is not ur choice, N82JV is ur best choice. For me, the AlienFX is nothing, cause look at it for a time, feel boring d, nothing special also. |

QUOTE(putochip123 @ Jul 12 2010, 08:02 PM) dont just see the outlook, N82JV which run cooler than M11x...... i dint know much about the temp in asus but based on the review this is what they say:-Well, Asus N82JV have less cell than M11x, bare in mind, M11x battery is stick inside the laptop which u cant take it out. whenh u gaming,or doing something, the laptop went hots and ur battery die faster than N82JV. For battery performance, is vry easy to solve, get extra battery, or purchase higher cell battery from Asus will do. which will cost lower than M11x(Core i7 640UM) and perform better than M11x http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-N...ok.29437.0.html "The GeForce GT 335M's temperature increases to an acceptable 78°C under load. The Core i7-620M gets a bit warmer with up to 85°C, which certainly isn't an optimal, but nevertheless still completely harmless rate." My m11x with the battery in while gaming has never reach that high temp before.. fps on games benchmark on asus also not convincing..i expect the performance to blow m11x away but it isn;t |

QUOTE(emino @ Jul 17 2010, 10:34 PM) Warcraft 3/DOTA does not support widescreen. But you can modify your registry to force it upon W3. i am one of it...http://warcraft.freakygaming.com/tutorials...widescreen.html Its a bit funny how people spends thousands of ringgits for an Alienware to play DOTA though. |
