and yea, i guess it is ok to just use cheap mineral oil for flushing. any light viscosity mineral oil to recommend? xw20/xw30 preferably? (lighter than my current 10-40)

hmmm..... now, i'm using torco... before this was Eneos. so wanna try something different...

In my experience those magnatec can throw into sea ady ..been using it almost 4 years at my late lmst & i found it just so - so compare other reputable brand.

Can i ask what series of torco? I am also now on torco but only can afford the TR-5 10-30 series    Before this i use eneos 5-30 & i didnt find any difference between those 2 brand. IMO are just great engine oil for my campro.

Next service i want to try LM 10-30 pulak..

Maybe in god will i wanna write review about eneos 5-30 vs torco 10-30 vs LM 10-30 based on my experience. I may not know all the technical mumbo jumbo about engine oil...just wanna share my personal experience

hey guys... i wanna ask...

now im looking at Q8 plus 15W40 since the price is a bit affordable...
but now the problem is i dont know where to find it in kajang/bangi area...
and i only encountered Sumo R4 5W30 for K-Cars and the price around RM110.

now my problem is my car is Kancil EX880 2001 and i prefer mineral oil than semi/fully synthetic.... 

so my question is...

1. is Q8 plus 15W40 really good for my engine and worth my trouble to go to sunway (which i could think the nearest place to buy the oil)

2. what about Sumo R4 5W40?

3. what other mineral oil that you guys could recommend for me? around RM100 and below but if really good wont mind going up a bit...

Perhaps it doesn't suit my car. Btw, previous oil viscosity lower? Maybe LM SS oil viscosity is really lower than Lexus FS oil.. lol.. higher viscosity means thicker, lower viscosity means thinner.. By right 5W-40 should be thinner than 10W-40 right?

just got my 2nd LM... but this time 10w40.... 10w30 is really nice.... balik kampung to penang 5000rpm all the way lol.... (me using kancil 880) and still can go further but scared lol... but due to a problem with my engine i decided to use a thicker oil and i still considered LM as my best bet....

lets see how it goes..... btw... now days i just love driving my old car even more lol!

Bro the numbers in front & back also got difference.. If not why put it? The front is for colder temp, while the back is for hotter temp.. So the more light the front number, the easier the car can start during cold (especially during morning) this will help your car to save fuel & protect it.. Go goggle it regarding the SAE oil viscosity number means... 

Almost everyone in my circle of Toyota friends use Motul (either 4100 turbolight or 6100 synergy). As for me I don't quite feel any difference because I'm still trying to get the hang of the feel of 4AGE (Toyota newbie). 
I think it should be okay though.

If it was B-series Honda I could definitely tell the difference between Idemitsu, Castrol or Shell of different grades. Last time I regularly use Idemitsu 15w40 for my previous B16A. One time I had Shell Helix HX5 in my B16A (just for the sake of trying ... VTEC sometimes didn't engage and engine felt heavy.

is it ok if sometimes we used Fully/S oil, sometimes we use Semi/S oil? does it harmful to our engine? can we mix engine oil of different brands but same viscosity for our car engine? For 2007 2400cc sedan car, 10w/30 SS or 10w/40 SS oil better ??

Personally I will go for 10w/30.. If there is no oil consumption associated issue..

I tot GTR R35 original recommended oil is Mobil 0W-40, heard would void the warranty if use others.. Oh wait.. Ur car is Re-con 1 izzit? Nice car u have.. 

Guys wanna ask, any 20-50w mineral engine oil which is below Rm50 for 4 liter? My engine is currently consuming engine oil, and i dont have the budget to service my engine yet, so wanna use the cheap cheap engine oil 1st b4 i got the budget.

bro. let said my saga blm manual stated i should use SAE 20W-50 for engine oil so how? my service center use petronas 15w 50. Now i dont service with center. im using 10w 40 magnatec. do you mean i should go back to sae20w 50?

if u wann superior protection + healthy engine, regardless of how premium or expensive a fully synthetic cost, highly recommended to change at 7000km interval.
