pity aros bought a fake OT ..

carefully inspect that OT stamp on the sole... the absence of 'studs' around it creating a 'halo effect' proves the shoe to be fake. also, they are not supposed to have an extra border... might be hard to spot but the 'registered' logo on the lower right side of the 'tiger' word seemed to be missing too. i have attached a pic of my mex66 lauta as reference

sorry couldn't really take pictures of their collection there cos I wasn't allowed to. generally, tigers there are pretty cheap compared to msia. they have a few pairs of nippon made mex66 deluxe (white, grey 2 tones, brown 2 tones) and were quite cheap too (HK$1900, RM770). anyway since I was already in the store, might as well make my trip worth.



a pair of purple mex66 and another pair of california 78. damage was HK$1400/RM565. had 10% discount cos i was using hk's credit card to pay. wanted to get mex66 deluxe but my size wasn't available.

yeah bro. sorry you got dupped. it happens sometimes. but i think you didnt pay that much for the fake one. so consider this a pretty cheap lesson? hahha. imagine if you actually paid much more for something thats fake.

my fren also have ot logo at the sole...
yet he buy it from authrzed dealer...no way there are sellng fake OT

first i thought it was lauta..becoz of ot logo at the sole..
but lauta usually have a steel lace ring..but my fren didnt have em..

im a bit confuse...is it lauto or ordnry mex...
OR..a new version of mex66...

btw, ur purple mex.66 is very colourful la.. haha..

the purple is very nice. put on black top and btm and people will be staring at your shoe all the way

By the way I bought the OT for .2k. Can see the wear and tear even after the first use. Well, going to make it worthwhile and taking it for wall climbing. lol

Anyway I am still looking forward for my boutique OT soon since even the fake one felt so comfortable when wearing it!
