Hi there,
I got a question. I'm an existing Maxis user with RM150 value plan. Can I still buy the phone with RM 1,499.00?

QUOTE(limjonyee @ Jun 10 2010, 12:53 AM) no need to register... you can buy at rrp (ie rm2199) with no strings attached whatsoever... but the only catch is u need to find a maxis center with stock... I'd gotten my desire from johor bahru maxis center without plan. wondering..i'm an existing postpaid user with value plan 150.. mean i need to pay RM2199 instead RM1499? or RM1499 if sign up for data plan only since I'm an existing user of value plan? correct me if i'm wrong please. thanks,.. |

for those who bought from Maxis..
please clear my doubt.. What is the method of payment do the Maxis center guys accept? I've been told that they only accept credit card payment. Because I want to buy the phone with cash & I don't have credit card. Do they also accept cash? I'm going to buy 2moro in Sunway Pyramid. thanks in advance |

if there is a handful of list of tips and tweaks for HTC Desire would be really better. as for now, I aware that I can't use WiFi 24/7 it drains batter power so fast & if I use my data plan I'm worried if I leave it idle.
is there list of tips and tweaks? I'm still Google it. |

hi, I would like to know how to check how much data we used directly from Maxis. Is there any option to check that like to check the current balance & etc.
Just for information there are 2 apps that allows to monitor your daily internet traffic usage: 1. http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/net.rgruet...oid.g3watchdog/ 2. http://www.jaqpot.net/netcounter/ this might helpful to track our bandwidth usage. QUOTE(awiekupo @ Jun 15 2010, 08:27 AM) Heard some rumours that the price wont be too cheap n there's probably another 24 mth of contract... but gud news is you'll get unlimited data usage of course.. i thought the unlimited data usage is only for corporate line?that's what a girl in Maxis center told me. |

For those worrying about the bill sky rocketed due to data plan. Do not worry because their style is charge 1st then they deduct later. Check the statement and you will see e.g
Data Usage 300mb RM 356.00 Data Plan -RM356.00 I using the post paid and I often confused with my current bill status once I check the statement then only I understand.. Added on June 22, 2010, 5:11 amAnd I also would like to know about the the internet connection. So, whenever I on my internet connection I can see the HSDPA, Edge & 3G symbols on each different location. Then, there is an app that can on/off the 3G connection. So, the question are: 1. Are those 3 connections, have their own pro/con like 3G sucks more battery than Edge, better bandwidth etc? 2. If yes, can I choose the specific connection and how?
