I think your friend mean the MarketPlace to buy paid apps - this is now no longer an issue as already resolved. It was an issue in the earlier release of the Androids eg Hero/Magic as Malaysia is NOT in the list of countries approved by Google to download paid apps. In Steve jobs words ( ... the Iphone is the BMW/Benz of phones while others are sedans ) when interview during the D8 conference - I feel he is being too proud here saying this. Anyway is his right n freedom of opinion.
