Just got the Desire and charging it now!!

Cant wait to turn it on... hahaha...

What is the actual warranty period? Maxis stated it as 18 months now and I am really sure I read it somewhere saying 24 months. Can someone pls confirm?
*
The warranty period for HTC Desire is clearly stated as 24 months in Maxis website.

After some searching online for a screen protector and a phone cover, I ordered the Martin Fields Overlay Plus screen protector and a cover from Bstripes on June 4th. To my surprise, I received them today through registered post.

I'm a novice in applying the screen protector for the first time, whilst trying to be perfect, it is not too difficult to DIY. As for the case, it is tight and needed to push the phone in at the first attempt. But I think it will get easier over time and it is a perfect fit for the phone.

Here are phone pics taken today.

@Red Maniac

how much n where did u bought it? u use credit card to pay or other methods?
*
You can only get it from their website. You can pay by credit card. Even though, it listed Maybank2U as payment mode, it doesn't work for me.

any idea how to not show the sim contacts  but just phone contacts when i press the PHONE icon (not PEOPLE icon). It's too messy with repetition of the two type of contacts
*
It's quite simple actually.

Go to the ALL Contact menu (At the main menu Press Phone > Press Menu button > Select People)

At the ALL Contact menu do the following

Press Menu > Select View > Untick SIM > Tick Phone > Press Done.

Hope this help.
