Guess what guys? I bought a Desire from Maxis without contract for RM2199. No need to wait till end of the month after all.

GPS on HTC Desire is fantastic !! 1st, you can use the gps even in airplane mode. Unlike iphone, you must have network coverage to use the gps function. 2nd, it easily locks the GPS satellite even I'm hiding in my house, not to mention when I'm outside, it locks within 5 seconds !! I can keep away my TomTom

the 500mb data plan that i subscribed still havent active yet
n the result is rm380 data usage bill for 37k Kb usage

not only that..the maxis CS also told me that the contract still havent active yet?

i took the plan from maxis centre klcc

500mb is enough if you're just surfing, using tweeter or facebook here and there.
I doubt you'll even use over 100mb though unless you absolutely don't wanna touch your PC anymore...

Just turn off the useless stuff like auto-syncing (this will actually eat up unnessasary bandwidth).

Sub-line can sign up for the package but you will need to bring your principal line along.
But one more thing, the principal line can only hold one contract at a time.

so desperate to get a HTC desire..
