QUOTE(Novalus @ Aug 18 2010, 02:01 PM) Looking to buy my 1st laptop, 1. Any brand 2. Budget 4k 3. Prefer i5, ATI 5650 or GT330M or better (which one better??). 4GB ram 4. 14" or 15" I am not a heavy video game player, but i do spend alot time on playing online games, and i love to watch movie and listen to music o ya if possible, i hope that the lappy won't get too hot, kinda scare the heat will spoil any hardware >.<, but this is not so important thou cos most of time i will be in air con room., as most other instances in this thread, i would definitely say go for A42JV. 2.7k can get you that model + 4GB already. Spend 300 for a superb cooler and you're good to go for online games. fyi, 'm using this lappie for online games and have never face any problem @ highest setting of any i've played so far

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Sep 17 2010, 11:53 AM) I don't really like the shinning materials used for the T210 but it has received a lot of praise from reviews... Review for the T215D (different processor) here: http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/to...lite-t215d.aspxThe T210's price is more than RM2k... noneed to extend warranty since Toshiba is holding an event which gives away free 2nd & 3rd year warranty. Not sure about the M101z's weight, but can consider that 1 too, its way cheaper seems like she already set her sight on that t210. thanks for your feedback though. she would be happy for the 2/3 year warranty. as well as the price tag that i'm getting her 2089 with a free dvd writer
