i want to get an entry level notebook - screen above 13" and budget below RM2.5K with backlit keyboard. Any in the market?

is the above code for discount coupon?

Since I can't get a "cheap" notebook with backlit keyboard, I am thinking of getting Dell 15R with Intel HD graphic because it has numeric keypad. Getting it with 3 years warranty and price would be around RM2.5K.

My Dell Vostro1400 bought in late 2007 with graphic card got problem and cost about RM1K to repair. Generally happy with Dell, the same Vostro had some battery problem (in the 11th month) and Dell sent the replacement battery to my home. I have another Vostro 1400 without graphic card bought almost the same time still working ok.

Anyone got discount coupon for Inspiron 15R or Ecode with special deal for 15R?

Any other notebook in the market with numeric keypad for less than RM2.5k?

thanks for the info, but with 3 years warranty the price close to RM3.5K, above my budget as just want to get one for normal surfing.
