I think D3's ISO handling is tuned by Nikon's engineer instead. Sony just make the sensors for them..
But well rest assure Sony is catching up with the technology and the quality...

sony is big electronic manufacturer, they are a multibiliiondollar corporation. If its not for them, the little guy(insert a rival brand here), wont have sensors or (insert rival brand here), will not have lcds for some of their cameras. They have spent alot of money to do RnDs and license their technology to the little guys to use without theme even forking much money for much RnD, even apple computers and (insert other brands here) use sony oem parts. I wouldnt write them off just yet, they are learning and evolving faster then any camera company out there due to their immense expenditures in RnD, they even have a pellix based camera coming out(based on rumours lah).

for 55mm, yes.. been there done that..
I never really tried asking in CNS Penang for CPL but Hoya 55mm UV is RM 30 ..
But I've worked in a camera shop itself before and I know that RM 50-60 still gives profit to the seller =D

haha afternoon guyz..just bought a HVL-42AM...used it to shoot my Mk II Iron Man, coz last time used just 50mm to shoot Mk I has really brought out the inconvenience without flash..hopefully this time this album has shown a bit of improvement

my a300 was dropped on the floor with the lens facing on the ground couple weeks ago... 
lens filter total lost and cant take it out, sent uncle chin for remove it... =.="
