QUOTE(ahpingko @ Jun 5 2010, 07:29 PM) for 55mm, yes.. been there done that..I never really tried asking in CNS Penang for CPL but Hoya 55mm UV is RM 30 .. But I've worked in a camera shop itself before and I know that RM 50-60 still gives profit to the seller =D |

QUOTE(mastering89 @ Jun 5 2010, 07:46 PM) Hoya normal ones are cheap. because its thick, lagi2 the CPL one Depends on what lens u use.. if you're using the SAL 18-70 or the 18-55 then the normal ones are okay.. primes and long zooms are able to cope for the normal filter .. Unless you're talking about ultra wide like the CZ1680 =D thats why I got the XS-PRO for it =Dthe slim ones like HMC or Pro1D is expensive. if buy the normal CPL ones sure ur picture heavy vignetting i can say nothing but Crumpler 6MDH |

QUOTE(ianho @ Jun 5 2010, 08:19 PM) Haha.. chillax.. he was refering to the cheaper 1 ok.. not everyone willing to afford for super grade filters for normal lens.. unless you're talking about 16-35 mkII =PQUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jun 5 2010, 08:37 PM) A B+W 55mm KSM CPL SLM will easily cost you RM370+- and luckily it's 55mm. QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jun 5 2010, 09:33 PM) Shashinki selling @ RM4xx here, Yours is the slim or normal one? 62mm for your Siggy 30mm f1.4? Slim Ksm for my CZ1680.. but that was like 10 months ago when I first got my lens. I got the XS PRO 62mm for like Rm 170+- working great =D loving every bit of it..It'll cost me RM7xx for my 16-35 mkII 82mm CPL And I'm sure you do know that Shashinki's price is a little bit higher than normal shops due to the convenience ya ? QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jun 5 2010, 09:38 PM) LOL, that's the reason I choose B+W filters for my lenses. I used to upgrade all mine to Hoya Pro1D but I hate the smudge each time I clean my filters using 3M cloth. B+W filters a lot easier to clean. True that, couldn't grab hold on normal price CZ filters besides retail pricing and some overpriced CZ filters which they jacked up.And wao seriously B+W is a premium upgrade compared to the normal Hoya, which was also regarded as a branded filter. Planning to get B+W for all my lenses =P If I have the cash that is =P |

QUOTE(enferion @ Jun 8 2010, 09:33 AM) Hi lwliam LoL.. he's not using A550, he's using A700..so do you feel that your A550 Path has been the right one?... given the delorean, would u go back in time and choose other wise? thx Well, its up to u, if video is a must then go for 550D, if you want those extra features like face detection and fast 7 fps.. then go for sony.. though Image quality is quite on par. |

QUOTE(wingster @ Jun 9 2010, 09:17 PM) But why they just bringing out the old sensors with the everything same as A220 and A380 just improve the grip and looks more A550 alike? I don't know, thats why I say normal people like us wouldn't understand. But you guys do that sony alpha has the highest selling basic series among all brands right? and it sells more than the mid-semi pro series. and the mid and pro series hardly have any shares in the market. Although you all might say that why not go for A550.. not all consumers research before buying.. One of the reasons I believe is High megapixels with a very cheap price. =D oh and did I say new cheap and high megapixels? and its Sony? haha..
