Depending on the size.. I think u can get around RM 50-60 for Hoya CPL as well.. cap one should cost less than that..

for 55mm, yes.. been there done that..
I never really tried asking in CNS Penang for CPL but Hoya 55mm UV is RM 30 ..
But I've worked in a camera shop itself before and I know that RM 50-60 still gives profit to the seller =D

Depends on what lens u use.. if you're using the SAL 18-70 or the 18-55 then the normal ones are okay.. primes and long zooms are able to cope for the normal filter .. Unless you're talking about ultra wide like the CZ1680 =D thats why I got the XS-PRO for it =D

Haha.. chillax.. he was refering to the cheaper 1 ok.. not everyone willing to afford for super grade filters for normal lens.. unless you're talking about 16-35 mkII =P

Wao, I remember I got quoted B+W KSM CPL 62mm for RM 300..
Didn't know the price went up so fast.. dang, didnt check out for quite a few months already.

Slim Ksm for my CZ1680.. but that was like 10 months ago when I first got my lens. I got the XS PRO 62mm for like Rm 170+- working great =D loving every bit of it..

And I'm sure you do know that Shashinki's price is a little bit higher than normal shops due to the convenience ya ?

True that, couldn't grab hold on normal price CZ filters besides retail pricing and some overpriced CZ filters which they jacked up.
And wao seriously B+W is a premium upgrade compared to the normal Hoya, which was also regarded as a branded filter. Planning to get B+W for all my lenses =P If I have the cash that is =P

LoL.. he's not using A550, he's using A700..
Well, its up to u, if video is a must then go for 550D, if you want those extra features like face detection and fast 7 fps.. then go for sony.. though Image quality is quite on par.

I believe sony has their own reason in their marketing.. the reasons that normal people like us wouldn't understand.. thats why they are special.. like their motto,make..believe.. =D

But you guys do that sony alpha has the highest selling basic series among all brands right? and it sells more than the mid-semi pro series. and the mid and pro series hardly have any shares in the market.
Although you all might say that why not go for A550.. not all consumers research before buying..

One of the reasons I believe is High megapixels with a very cheap price. =D
oh and did I say new cheap and high megapixels? and its Sony? haha..
