looks like shadow no qweety keyboard right ?? if not how to make 9.9mm thickness ?? , but the specs damn nice, btw, the screen size not 4.3 inch ?? how bout the processor ?? HTC will announce new phone and packed with 1.3Ghz processor later this year .........

i think shadow has no qweety keyboard...
processor it wil be use TI OMAP 3630 CPU (720 MHz),that helps it achieve 80% better performance on the graphics benchmark...

This thread confusing me now..
At the early post saying that this droid 2 is in tablet form which's i might said no QWERTY board..
But then, there're rumors that it'll have one..
Which one is the right 1?
Anyway, I hope when it's officially released here, it'll be called milestone2 coz droid is more to US version..
And support GSM too...

Another interesting thing I've read is that there are Droids that have those type of keys from the screenshot (two). They're not flat. Kinda bulge up a little.

Droid 2 & Shadow are two totally different phones. The keyboard looks to be slightly better

So, CDMA is kinda new network by USA(known as a country that always want something different than others!) but sources said that it's faster than GSM with its CDMA2000 or EVDO.. Nothing much, if during peak time, CDMA also will be jammed and slower too..

No.. It just something different from a country that really like to be rare and weird from others!
And it's no surprise too that CDMA will charge more when roaming compare to GSM because of less concentrated coverage..

And that's US for you!

As said, US have their CDMA network as well. VZW uses CDMA and since most phone release is tied to the operator, the phone will of course be made in CDMA network. But this is by far not exclusive (depends on the deal that is) as demonstrated by Droid/Milestone. Once they brought it out of US (UK to be exact for Milestone), they'll have to make it a GSM version since only US's Verizon uses CDMA (though China actually have their own CDMA). UK uses GSM.

Even if it is in CDMA, I sure hell do hope they make a GSM version as well

Yeah, for Market strategy, they must build it in both version.. GSM and CDMA.. If not, they'll only hope that all US residents use their product which's of course they're not so confident with concentration only to US right??

I don't think so though in the case of Shadow. The only reason Droid name was not carried over is copyright issues. So I believe they will carry the same name.

Definitely. They can't just sell within US and hope to make a real profit out of it. Not with the intense market there. They'll be sure to need global market to really get back into the game. Moto has been in the slump for a while before Milestone arrives

Both Shadow and Droid 2 have no confirmation on network but having it on VZW raises the possibility of it being on CDMA. The Greco is probably not for VZW.

You shoud use those invisibeShield. Saw it a while back at Garage Sale. Not exactly cheap but it gives a great protection for your phone

BLUR on Shadow will probably be called 'NinjaBlur'. Its there but no one will notice it's there.

Benchmark -
Look at the Shadow MB810, not 'Your device'. Its nearing N1 result while still being in 2.1. This was said due to NinjaBlur in action.
